partner underbid by not bidding 2spades over 2diamonds and should have bid 4spades after the cue bid. I dont know what you were playing in I play in some indies for fun and cant believe what people dont understand about bidding....there are no real results in some of these events. You can only compare your results by playing in a good field.

was running an indy tourney on new version is there a way to see all scores for a board at end of round to make any adjustments to the board for incompletes. Players dont always msg TD about A/A boards.

I agree this totally nonsense, I have played here for 15 years, the more hands you play the more weird distributions you will see just from the shear # of hands you play. If your not doing well then you need to practice more.

I thought in Max Hardys books 2clubs is the bid you make or you pass, I have seen some play that 2diamonds gaurantees four

so why not show some sort of BBO card for 2/1 is that really that hard? even the ACBL had at onetime yellow card tournaments

thats my point what is standard for this, is there an indy convention card...make it so people know what is standard for this

the point is it would be a great way to teach people what the 2/1 system is. I have these auctions 1NT 2♦ is it diamonds or majors? 1NT 2♣ clubs or something else 1NT double if folks in indy could see what their bids are supposed to be before they make them it might help everybody.

just started playing some free indys lately after 15 years :) it seems people who play in it have no idea what is standard BBO 2/1! cant it be set up like when one plays with the bots that you can preview the bids before you make them....alot of players make all sorts of weird bids over 1NT etc you get the drift. If this were set up then everyone would learn what BBO 2/1 is :lol:

in bbo free indy there were 2 different scores for 4h+1 and 5h= they were different by about 1%, i tried to copy and paste image but couldnt so does this happen quite alot? this was showing up in the history on the new html5 version, but in the results after the tourney it was correct. So why is there a difference?

No you are missing my point! I don't like the best hand format. that is not real bridge. Try playing one of the challenges at imps no best hand format for 4-7 boards, you and 7 gibs. try doing it in a victory point format like your in a tournament see how you do.

as far as my self I enjoy playing with the robots, not in acbl games but the challenges and I UNCHECK best hand format. to me that is real bridge. Yesterday I picked someone who was in top ten and check their boards. 6 times in 12 hands they opened a minor with a 5 Card Major...to me I just cant call this real bridge. As far as masterpoints, like Leo said they could go to 18 board matches and give full section awards, but the overall awards are real paltry. I would have expected in the 5 to 10 range.

what is going to happen now that MS Edge may go a form of open source using a chrome engine I believe. I was reading that it would be the end of edge html which I what I assume the preview version of bbo is. Just curious
