I think 2NT should show a good hand with diamonds well stopped (had enough points to bid over 1♦ but was stuck for a call). Add the, I dunno, QJ of diamonds to the 2NT bidder and it makes more sense. add the QJ of diamonds and I would PASS.

West bid very normally. I would bid 2♥ with the east hand, it looks very suit-oriented to me. As others have pointed out, 2NT obviously makes no sense.

I would just bid 3♥, because if my partner has clubs, then the opponents have diamonds. 2NT then 3♥ does not show a better hand than a direct 3♥.

I agree, it is obvious that we must break up the triple squeeze on opening lead.

Disagree, I would bid 6♥ all day with South's hand and don't think it is close. But then again I think 3♥ was a serious underbid too.

yes but forget responder cuebid is good good then....what is bad bad? raise even to 2 level shows ok, what if 3 level is only ok good?

I played in a few $5 Best Hand MBTs, and they seem to be operating completely with $BB. This seems a little strange to me for a "Money Bridge Tournament", and I greatly prefer having $MB to $BB. Is it possible to change it so that the tournaments operate with $MB?

At MPs I am going to offer hearts through 2♠ then 6♣. At IMPs, I am just going to blast 6♣.
