  1. Paste does not work in the Chat line, but CTRL-V (keep CTRL pressed, then press V, and release both) works.
  2. The right panel has a TD/Director tab. in Running Tournament, click on the line of the tournament you want for a pop-up with a list of actions.
  3. That is correct. Logging off, then on as visible is needed.
  4. They NEVER appear during the 20 minute correction period. Once they appear, correction period is over.
  5. Any player who does not agree with continue playing can and should call a Director.
  6. Cue bid unless you're playing it as RKCB (either way). If you do play 4♠ as RKCB, then 4NT becomes the ♠ cuebid, most probably showing a ♣ void in this sequence (or 2 fast losers somewhere; a reason not to ask).
  7. Howell movements are available now for virtual clubs, on demand. EBU decided all the clubs should have it, so they do. Arrow switched games are not implemented, development efforts are focused elsewhere at the moment, so don't think they will happen anytime soon.
  8. They appear in completed tournament for a little while (IIRC, it is the same 20 minutes after completion to allow for board adjustment). Then the final results are saved to DB, and the tourney is removed from the completed list.
  9. inserisci +private+ nella descrizione
  10. We had a mass disconnection, (about 35000), then the same people trying to come back at the same time. Took a while to get back to normal.
  11. At this point, there is only one call to seat registered players. They either get it (and get charged) or miss it (no charge). I have no idea how much work would take to change this, but wouldn't expect it to be easy. (who would get a late seat? how late? what's the chance the miss a board on the first round? if applies, have to redo sections and stratification, limited by the pairings already made for round one; I'm sure there's more issues). As Paul said, get people on time. To be on the safe side, at least 3-5 minutes before the schedules start. On the dot might be late. A few seconds before might be late. For adjusting unfinished boards, you look at the progression of bidding and play on that board (which BBO allows you to see), and decide what would happen on that basis. There is an important limitation: No split scores besides a combination of averages is currently supported. But travellers are not needed for this. Others tables results are irrelevant for this process.
  12. Something else. Put one name down, save. Change partner's name, save. Etc.
  13. Paul is correct, don't think any of the developers was aware of such a custom. Suggest treating two diiferent "BBO" matches as two halves of the same match, even name them $name (1st Half) and $name (2nd Half). You'll have to tally them by hand, but other than that, seems to me it would fit your expectations.
  14. hcp_ns = hcp(south)+hcp(north) condition hcp_ns > 17 and hcp_ns < 23
  15. Given it was a limited tournament, each player has to tell *BBO* what their ACBL # is, so it can be checked for elegibility. You did, your partner did not. Each player, when registering for an ACBL tourney, is asked for their # if there is none on file. Failing that, go to ACBL World, there is a button there labeled "Update yor ACBL #" (or similar, my usual language is spanish). But, this is personal. Each player has to do it, and no 3rd party can do it for them.
  16. Not only Russia. May 1st is Labor Day in many countries.
  17. Create a Convention Card, put your partner's name when you save it. S/he will see it under your name.
  18. I misread it then, sorry. At this point, you're declarer, so you tell them the correct meaning of 2♠, as sson as possible, preferably beore the opening lead.
  19. Tell no one. You're allowed to misbid, and opponent got the right explanation of your agreements. Your partner has the same information than your opponents have. Your obviously can't tell your partner your misbid. Your opponents are not entitled to know more than your partner. EDIT: MIsread the situation, nothing I said above is valid. Tell opps the meaning of you 2!S BID, even when it does not match your hand.
  20. Look again :) Below the "Use this criteria", there is a text field where you can paster your dealer script.
  21. But you're supposed to alert/explain when bidding is over (if your side is declaring) And this is to avoid waking partner up. If your partner doesn't know you are alerting, no need to make alerts above 3NT delayed.
  22. You are right: your partner can't see your explanations. On the other hand, you explain for their benefit. If they don't want to take it, and are not coming later with "you should have explained": if there is a TD, I would ask if that's allowed by regulations, and follow what the TD say. if there is no TD, would explain partner does not see it, and if they persist, would follow the opp request. Their loss.
  23. As long as there is a working TD, it does not have to be the same person who created the tournament. Please be sure the coTD is willing, and their name is specified correctly.
