I prefer to bypass 4♠ in both, but I can see 4-4 fits lost over 1NT. Over 2NT you can use your version of checkback with (almost?) every hand with 44 in the majors.

You have to change the password in BBO, it will be reflected here. BBO's username is case insensitive, but forums' isn't.

I see no issue with a "original player must seek sub permission to be seated back" policy. It is up to tournament organizers to set these policies. And then, follow them consistently.

For the record, she said Netherlands when asked who would she root for, in 2010, for argentine TV. OTOH, can't see how could she answer differently. Context: the Dutch queen was born in Argentina.

Are you sure they are clocked? In a unclocked tourney you have the "fast track" which ends early, but if you fall behind you will be matched with slow pairs, and if you are fast then, you'll be waiting for future opps to finish they round, and that may take some time.

It is assumed that when there is more than one sitout (which needs people actually withdrawing, as opposed to a disconnection), something is wrong with the match. Note this also needs the first sitout not to be filled in at the time the second one happens.
