  1. My mistake, sorry. Had them in the browser cache so did not notice them gone. Now fixed.
  2. No, they are there when you write a post. Except when you edit a post, but in that case there is a "Use Full Editor" option which allows you to continue the editing with all buttons available, including the suit ones.
  3. Several changes, mostly under the hood, to support additional (future) features. We'll install some of those soon. Most visible, now there is a new panel on the right ("Recent Topics added" and "Watched Topics"). You can hide that panel with X button attached to it if you so wish.
  4. You need 75% to be allowed to play. Web client shows your own stats when showing your profile. It is a new feature, few weeks.
  5. Both tourney and personal option. If both allow it, you see 4 hands. If either disallows it, you see 2.
  6. Ken: 1) Keep the mouse on the just popped up profile OR click on Pin. If you move the mouse out an unpinned profile. it vanishes. 2) 64 bit Flash is fairly recent. It your Win 7 is 64 bit, it will have 2 IEs, one for 64 bit, one for 32 bit. Flash versions must match IE. So, you used to need the 32 bit version of IE to run BBO (because Flash was only available in 32 bit). Nowadays, this should not be an issue.
  7. Rome was not built in a day (nor fell in a day either). It fell one day, though.
  8. I would assume inverted undiscussed. Lacking that, whatever number of ♠ as splinter, but might be taken as natural. Lacking that, probably 1♦, then 4♣
  9. [hv=myhand={myhands_id}]400|300|{comments}][/hv] things between {} are variables, comments are optional. Remember at this time myhands IDs are gone after a couple of months, the link showed in the myhands window could be a good alternative (with the hand described as LIN). [hv=lin=.......................]400|300|{comments}[/hv]
  10. I agree on the 1♠ rebid. For these cases (GF support in a minor, partner rebids NT so no 4SF available), I bid NMF (obtensibly with 5 cards in my major, then support the opener's minor, GF, retract promise about 5th card in major. in this case, I am stuck for a bid, though. But would have bid 2♣, 10+, the first round.
  11. What if you have more than one rule matching a giving sequence? Add weights to discriminate?
  12. Vugraph schedule refers to the timezone set in your PC. If you have your PC set in US EST time, you will see that. If you have some other timezone set, you will see that one instead. Setting it to any particular timezone would be too much (particular place)-centric.
  13. More: robots at tourneys run in BBO servers, no matter what BBO version you use.
  14. Does Mike Cappeletti count? He does play it. Also, there was an story on a recent NABC bulletin about this substitute (IRL) which partner refused to play Capp, but agreed to play Hamilton (who turned out to be Fred Hamilton) :) Maybe Julian Pottage play it too? :D
  15. Older hands should appear in the web version now.
  16. Use the "Mark board as read" link, in each thread, at the very bottom. View New Content->Mark all threads as read, does exactly this, unless I am mistaken.
  17. Think you need to mark the board as read (there is a link for that at the very bottom of any thread). In the "View New Content" page, in the View New Content title line, there is a "mark all boards as read"
  18. No. Dummy can't bring attention to any infraction, except maybe declarer's revoke, if allowed to do that ("No xxxxx, partner?"). Dummy can call the TD after someone else brings attention to the infraction.
  19. LM Conditions of Contest Ribbon event Elegibility Good luck in Orlando!
  20. Are you using TylerE's skin? It does not show these buttons.
  21. Gerardo

    format

It ha been fixed. Thanks, Ed.
  22. Backtracking seems a good way to find a pairing set. Had seen some chess literature, they had added complexity though (alternate colors, dense scoring, floating players).
  23. The CSS data is no longer inline. Sorry.
