This, looks like we might set it 2 or 3 which is a good result

Hmm.. my precision sequence would work if north bid 2♦ instead of 3, but... 1♣ - 1♠ (3♦) 3♠ - 4NT 5♣ - 5♦ 7NT 1♣ = 15+ or 17+ balanced 1♠ = Positive, natural 3♠ = Trump Asking Bid 4NT = 5 or more ♠s to the AKQ 5♣ = asking 5♦ = No club control (Jxx or worse) 7NT = We have 5 spades, 2 hearts, a diamond, and 3 clubs off the top and hopefully clubs break or you have ♣Jxx or you have 4 clubs or you have the queen of hearts and the jack drops or the jack and the finesse works or there's a singleton honor in hearts offsides or you happen to have ♥Q ♦Kx in addition to AKQxx of spades Maybe 7♠ is a better percentage chance than 7NT but 7NT has a lot of chances so... If it's IMPs I bid 7♠ instead of 7NT obviously

In spades you can eliminate the hearts after drawing trump and throw west in with a club
-
In 4♠ you can just ruff a diamond though, not as fun :(

[hv=pc=n&s=s97632hj62d8c5432&w=shaq95dkj963cjt98&n=sakqjtht3daqcakq7&e=s854hk874dt7542c6]399|300[/hv] North plays 4NT on a spade lead and cashes 3 clubs and 4 spades to get to the following position: [hv=pc=n&s=s9hj62d8c3&w=shaq9dkjcj&n=stht3daqc7&e=shk874dt7c]399|300[/hv] On the last spade, east discards a diamond but west has no good discard. If he discards a diamond, I'll get two diamond tricks instead of one. If he discards a club, I get a club and a diamond. If he discards the ♥9, I lead a low heart from both hands and either west is endplayed after cashing 2 hearts and a club or east overtakes and establishes an extra heart trick for me. If he discards a high heart, I lead a low heart from both hands and west is again endplayed or east overtakes and establishes a heart for me. So what is that squeeze called?
-
you'd lead a pointed suit?
-
Gives north the wrong impression of his hand. 4♥ is better.
-
ok now that I don't have 6 of their suit to the AQT pass is obvious
-
(1NT) - 3♣! - ( p ) - 3♦! ( p ) - 3♠ - ( p ) - 5♣ Using homemade system over 1NT. 3♣ shows 6 ♣s and a maximum strong NT strength or better, 3♦, 3♠ shows concentration in that suit, 5♣ is hoping for the best. 3NT from the east is better than 5♣ because sometimes south won't lead a heart. Also, switching the hearts and spades in the west hand would make both contracts un-makable. If I wasn't reckless enough to bid 3♣, which is a slight overbid here, it would go: (1NT) - 2♣ - AP

And that's what GIB did, except he led a club to the ace before the queen of hearts. I personally would have tested the clubs first and if they break 4-2 or 5-1 I would run the ♦8 and then try the AK of diamonds since diamonds probably break 3-3 and I can pick up 7x in the south hand as mentioned. If clubs were 3-3 or 2-4 I would try the queen of hearts since diamonds are more likely to break badly. Although I might run into entry problems with this line... I had ♠KJTxxx ♥A9 ♦xx ♣Txx and north won the first heart with the king so there was no problem after that.
-
Every time I do that, GIB shows two aces without the queen and I either bid 6♥ off two top clubs or pass 5♥ when slam is cold

[hv=pc=n&e=sk76h865da75ck764&d=e&v=e&b=6&a=ppp1sp4hd4sppp]133|200[/hv] East led a spade. The only lead to defeat the contract is a heart. Fortunately for it, declarer was my GIB partner and made a gigantic blunder by leading a heart after winning the queen from dummy, losing the contract.

[hv=pc=n&w=sak94ha6d75cakqj7&d=e&v=e&b=6&a=4dpp(%21%21%21%21)p]133|200[/hv] GIB east had ♦AJ98xxxx and out so they only made 6.
-
Are you sure that you have given us the correct hand?
-
I have reason to believe that the bidding and the play was done with X-ray vision. [hv=pc=n&w=saq53ht872d82cj43&e=s92hq5dak964cakq2&d=e&v=e&b=6&a=1d2spp3cp3h(%21)p3n(%21%21)ppp]266|200[/hv] All bids are natural. 3♣ showed 15-22 Total Points, 4+ ♦, 4+ ♣, and 3-card D (?). GIB west bids 3♥ with 4 ♥s to the ten and east bids 3NT without a stopper. Fortunately, his partner has two. How do you play 3NT on the lead of the jack of spades, north following with the 7?
-
But we're already in a game force...

1♦ - 1♠ 2♣ - 2♥* 3♦ *Fourth suit forcing 3♦ apparently shows extras. Why?

Why would it be any different, considering I'm not showing anything?

Of course I make 13 tricks easily. I tried simulating the same auction up to 3♠ and GIB either cue-bids, keycards, or jumps to 6♥ with enough high card points. However, no matter how good of a hand he has, he will sign off with 14-17 total points.

1. Yes, you could be making 4♠ opposite two major-suited aces 2. Yes 3. If he hadn't psyched he wouldn't remove the redouble. 4. If I didn't think I could prove it... maybe he has weak spades and 2-3 hearts as support and thinks 5♥X will go down less

Responder shows a slam try with a semibal 10 count

Yes, but he declined the game try and GIB bid 4 anyway, which should be a slam try -
