hi Mathew, I for one think the minutes per baord shoud be listed, as much info as possible so players wont encounter surprises, like the playing , not adjusting, alert psychic td. I also think that a listed tourney shoud start on time.Because players that are signed up cant do anything else, once u see a tourney with 2 minutes till start many partnerships are formed that want to play instant , if they know it will delay many woud not sign up, anyways when u delay all that are signed up get irritated(take it from a oldtimer) at least, u dont want them in your tourneys in that condition, U delay means the one short after you seeting something up that will start when yours ends will have to delay. Life is all about waiting and not many ppl like it so why add to negative fact of life, there will always be a tourney that is going to end in short, and another short after that, if u wait till yours is the only one someone will jump in front of you :D Not fun waiting,very unplaesant seeing a time till start going up. Ppl do their math and predict when something is going to finisch, messing up their schedule is not friendly gesture . Regards Marc

hi , Stephan and i dont have a symbol in our profile (i think) but given the fact that we are fairly know(and very often online) around BBO makes ppl come ask us cause they know us. Think we both know where the symbols come from and how they are given, but a lot of folks do not and easy come towards us to ask:) therefore the proposal to get users on BBO know what it is and why :) BTW, it is possible to not display your country, simply chose "other" in the list of flags/countrys. Dont delay tourneys, soo frustrating and when ppl start with a bad feeling that will result in bad atmosphered tourneys, nobody benefits, at least have courtesy to state it in your conditions of contest that u will delay in order to have a table more or less. When i held my bridge too far, i posted it at 12.30 edt, and 30 minutes before messages start to come in, please delay 5 minutes, we playing this and that.Its always the same story so one knows in front, then i delayed 5 minutes and thats it. I seen many tourneys delaying , delaying, delaying in order to get recordtables resulting in more then usual subs needed, so what can be the benefit? Some pppl dont participate in unclocked tourneys given the fact they dodnt know when its going to end so therefore dont make clocked unclocked with ongoing delays, timemodifications. Marc

Hi Mathew, It happens to the most tds sooner or later, all the things u point out are long time probs.We have been asking a lot to disable mutiple calls from one player-table.Will come one day im sure. Concerning your record, you aint see nothing yet LOL and unfortunaly correct, i had a player and his partner called me 17 times in less then a minute, prob is when they keep on calling u cant sub them out cause everything stops when a call comes in :((another hint for software). The call director button shoud be hidden , every day another place so ppl woud have to find it, by that time most problems are over and u missed a zilion calls, a message to the table "director is informed"when the first calls maybe woud solve some probs. You must be a new td given the fact you are not spychic and smell what is the problem at a table when noone informs you :D Yes, the sub yourself feauture works perfect, some players prefer to let td chose a sub afterwitch they can blaim the td for profiding a bad sub :o Blaim it on the fact that we are so deeply loved over this place and that ppl really appreciate our compagny at a table... Hi, Not much response to this topic, probaly all think its total bull :D , But the reason i brought this up is that we are/have been for long talking about chaeting and what to do about it. A easy tool to allow only friends to kibitz combined with "only see partners hand when dummy" woud mean that only way possible to chaet woud be 2 pc in same house and someone playing with himself and have a bidding advantage but in no way anyone coud have access or see all 4 hands wich makes playing a bit easier :). Im not suggesting this becoming all over bbo or in all tourneys but it woud be nice if we coud provide chaetfree tourneys(close to garantuee it). I have no problems with vast majority i know on bbo, however if i see strange play and a kib with an empty profile, not always td is able to check for same ip adress(not always yellow online, not all yellows know how to check that) i get suspiciuos.Then have a long work of gathering baords(prove ) all very timecomsuming, I know many that dont play tourneys where no kibs are allowed, but with a feature where only friends are allowed to kib or enemies dissallowed it means that kibbing is open for "know ppl"and closed for the unknow. I personally think bbo has become very large so chaeting has grow with it, and to add to that, many(myabe only one , still to much) ppl who think that chaeting is going on in the long run start protecting themselves with in turn start chaeting themselves, its all to easy, u have a friend on instant mess and u have one finesse to make for a slam and score good in a tourney, small step to be taken and once taken there is no end to it. This is major reason why i stopped on msn gaming zone, u play with someone and suddenly you get zonemessages with what to play and how. this is one of the reasons why some tds dont charge entrance fee in any of their events because i cant garantue or have tools to try with a good shot at success to put a hold on chaeting. hi, As a td i woud like to see an option to "allow kibbing for friends" "or disallowed for enemies" combined with "only able to see partner hand when dummy". Now u can roll all over me but its easy to get in my friendslist .Further movie areavaible secs after play, all played hands can be found on the myhands link . We tds can ban based on level, whereabouts(countrys), systems, conventions, haircoulour,spychicsfrequenty(or even ask players to alert their spychs!!) and sexe and many others so why not make the above option become possibil . Hi Uday, Sorry didnt make myself claer, problem occurs to kibitzers who believe "their"baord is adjusted, off course the players who are playing shoud receive a mess. what i ment is that the mess for baord adjusted gets across to more players(finisched and now kibbing) then to only those concerned, i think there is also a flaw, at least there was that not the correct tablenumber is displayed, resulting in more questions"why u adjust my baord?" while it happend on other table. Hi, When adjusting a baord , everyone at that table gets a mess "td adjusted baord xx on table xx", even players in the lobby point out or ask"why adjust, we were finisched" , maybe it been pointed out before but this seems to confuse a lot of ppl. Isnt it possible to do it diffrent? Marc

Hi Maureen ♥, it was a real pleasure to direct, as u pointed out only a couple of subs were needed, those in fact came and apoligiest for losing their connection, soo nice :rolleyes: . May i add to that that directing for BIL is compared to more open fields a walk in the park, no subs, no fuzz, no arguments, no fights, no disconnects,no dummyclaims, no languages besides english, al alerts when needed. hi, When adjusting put in your preferences , player to the bottom is south, so when seeing a movie, or visiting a table u have your directions right, doesnt matter if u mix "E with W" or "N with S", it works just fine like it is.U need to see the movie i think before a adjust or u were at the actual table where u witnessed slowplay, either way if u have player to the bottom=south u wont have problems with directions. Hi, In order to get bilmembers get to know cool feature of teammatches(some are not familiar with it) i agree to do a short competition of TM where winners will face eachother in next rounds. 1september will be held the finals where we promised the winners to form pair with a nat./internat. star.Therefore im asking/looking 4 bbo stars willing to play 8 baords with a bil member, let me know. Secondly first round of teammatches will be six at least, maybe 8 at same time, so any td willing to help me out a little let me know.below is the schedule. Teams - 30 August 15:30 in the BIL for setting up the teams - then 3 rounds 6 boards . hi, A= seems a lot to get when u woud have gotten a bad result, even A- many woud settle for if they are in a mp`s 0% or imps more then minus 3 imps contract. I always try to adjust to the obviuos, when in doubgt of outcome and u know for sure who was responsibil for the slowplay adjust the "dougbful" tricks for the opps(non slowplayers), so that a "convenient" slowplayer wont get away with it. With A= only as "punischment"(i call it award) it pays off to try funny contracts last baord and see what happens, when u cant make it, play slow and your overallresult wont change because of the A= Marc

Hi, when u get invitaion for playing a tourney , all other things become impossible to do, like asking a friend if he wants to play tourney, or finisching your current chat, moving around after invtation is impossible too. I woud like to see that i can still do some basic things like going to partnershipdesk and seeing if there is someone i woud prefer to play with more(a know friend) or/and finisching my current chat.
