hi, i always tell players in first round with how many we started that tour, i`m getting a lot of possitive feedback while doing so, players now then how theyre doing in a survivel greetings marc

hi, personal i have to dis agreed with that, otherwise u would see +200 registerd pairs and 4 tables showing up, people seem to lose track of time once they started playing , i tell players in advance when playing in main bridgeclub that a tourney is coming up shortley, seems to be not more then the polite way of dealing with it greetings marc

hi, well i think you have always people who will be complaing, i had a guy yesterday who was asilver robbon or something like that winner, i never knew somebody can be that rude, i send some of the messsages to abbuse, he then came back later after i booted him to even take up the rudiness with another nick, told me he had 1600acbl points and all, i blacklisted him as well, but wat i really want to say is that it means nothing anymore(the problems) when even one player gives me a compliment or a thanks, thats makes up for all the work and bad things that happen, i like to think as it this way, players can be only one time rude and give me a second of stress(blacklist) while others thank you and give me warm feeling time and time again, about the discarded pairs(survivor) i can say that i have less people complaining about that once u make regular adds about it, even as lots probaly only read 1/10 of adds, sooner or later they will, about the adjustments , i tend to be claer on that with players , no tablenumber=no adjust, once u get the tablenumber and u talk to those players while looking at the movie(rare that u cant see the outcome of it) u get less whining about that to, i try to be strict and fair, had today a players that said beky(yellow) that he wanted to be replaced and it al was bull.... while the adjust was obvuis sohe got what he wished for, replaced like forever greetings

hi, while hosting today i saw after downloading new beta that there is an extra option in the edit tournament window called type, can somebody tell me what is for, would like to say as far as i saw the new things it looked very promising, well done uday and all who worked on it greetings marc

hi, i was today host on the abalucy tourney when my own tourney started and came in to severe problems, bbo didnt respond anymore, only showing log off that i could click, i did that and coudnt enter bbo for several minutes, then i signed in with different nick to ask other tourney host to remove me from the td list, after been removed there bbo worked as usual, maybe it can be repaired or if not i advice tds to remove themselves from tdlist when they stop hosting there and go on to host another :D :D :D :D

hi, when trying to adjust an tournament with an excluded list,i always have to open this excluded list(file from pc) to be able to do some adjust(increasing pairs, or changing starttime).any help on that from someone? :D B) :P :lol: :)

hi, the find friend option only shows wheter he/she is on-offline, no change to use that to private chat, also i get a lot of questions from people wanting to play in tourneys but not knowing how to register , maybe td should be able to enter pairs in some sort of way to do it for those pairs thx marc

hi its ok to boot people when serious things bring a nice event in trouble, but todat i got booted by [A DIRECTOR] for using tournament chat when hands where finisched on all tables, gweny said hi, i replied, one ask the local time , several replied and i was booted, but it all came back to me later as i rememberd that i once had discussion with him , he didnt like me making adds for bbo-winners.net, i totally forget his commments as i was busy at that time hosting , told ecepal about it so i left it a that till just know lol. it isnt funny that u first chat about cc whith your p and then get booted for no reason at all, after had several privates from him but i evetually marked him as enemies, told uday about it .ok got that off my chest, moving on with life :D :D :D

hi, i enconterd several spychic bids while hosting my tourneys, i think i got how to handle them after discussd this with ecepal, but can someone fill me in completely as i didnt find any topisc on this in the convention sites i have. specific, one player said after pass , pass, 2!C , i always bid 2!D (that players didnt had any !D 5 hcp), his partner thought it was real bid but didnt had enough points to support, i believe this is called spychic but after discussion the reason for his bid, the next round or so(when it could happen again), because of this discussion i believe that it has enterd the cc and therefore not allowed, thx

hi, i had chatwindow open when i was privating to someone while she went offline, bbo then froze, must say at that time, i also had my hands open to watch recently played hand, maybe minor (wont happen often) but think still worth the report greetings marc

hi i`m with mink on all thisadjustments issues, i believe its not right to creata large tournaments with qualifiers for bbo-winners.net , players seem to be much more demanding then. in the case of yesterday, creating a 16 board120 pairs event without possiblility of an adjust( tourneys laest about three hours) is asking to much from players, then running to yellow for help or wurse even td just went offline(that happened yesterday) when he couldnt coope with normal host problems, ;) :o :D :D :D

a td ask me today to co-host his tourney, i said no but when kibitzing i saw that he went offline, so i ask yellow to make me td, lot of work it was (60)table , unclocked when on tourney itself was written clocked, so a lot of problems finding my way around , when it was almost finisched i got an angry call about a score not beeing adjusted when told from td it would, the other td in this time came back online, excused himself for not feeling well and he had promised this player a scoreadjust, when i ask why didnt do it, he said: i dondt know how. my question now is: is it good for bbo and bbo-winners.net to have td run tourneys like that, lots off players were mad because of timedelay(clocked but it wasnt), lots of tables had from round one one player missing (lots of adjust to be made) some went out beacuse they didnt play at all. i told this td what td`s should know about winners.net, he answered me in telling that he would try again tomorrow, look on scheduled and same host, same #pairs and#boards, maybe bbo-winners.net should have a standard for his td`s?

hi, as a td i can find myself in what the td said but i dont find it acceptable, the least this td could do was check the hand, but in his diffence i can say that hosting a tourney is not that easy, maybe its a thought to make smaller tourneys for this director to be able to be fair in adjusting score`s, maybe players need to be able to send the bridgemovie when u have scoreissue`s so the director can view the hand as it was played, i dondt not if software is able to do that but it would solve a lot off this problems

hallo i was just wondering when i held a tourney(had about 200 kibitzers) in last table to play if there are any efforts been made in the past on getting bbotourneys in guiness book of records(1. most players in an online bridgeevent,2. most kibitzers(i think that has been reached on vugraph)3, maybe a marthon event(longest internet tourney) maybe some thoughts on that greetings marc 8) 8) ;) :D

hallo, i`m seeing that people that are on my enemies list still can register at partnership desk, they then find a partner and are registerd to play, i partically find it annoieing when people sign in and are offline when tourney starts, and people on m y enemies list often do so, i have the option (exclude enemies of host) on but still they manage to do this, maybe you already heard of this several times, will it be fixed in future software ? thx greetings marc

hi, i`ve been seeing a lot off survivor tourneys where lowest scores are cut off, i ve been told that you need a new betaversion to be able to host these tourneys, can anyone tell me please where to get it, lots of thanks
