I have sat and watch a few lessons, and people start asking me in private if I would do same, and why or why not. Maybe they want second opinion, so now I only come and play with few of my "students" and if experts sit there and spec and give advice that's fine with me. There are many times different approaches to a problem, and this way they can make up their own mind about which treatment they like best. Mike :D

I prefer 10-12 NV and 12-14 Vul. But of the 2 choices I was given I like to play what field does, 15-17. Maybe overcalling 1 NT as 16-18. Mike :D

That's why many play here, to play anything the want. And I like to play against it, just for the fun of it. Mike :D

Does it matter, since you are still watching same tourney, only 5 minutes later. Bidding and cardplay still going to be same. I actually think it is a great idea, and possibly will cut down greatly on some cheating going on. Mike :D

A lot of gold stars have their stars because of their help to bridge and BBO, not because of their bridgeskills. And it is never ever good to insult anybody, star or not. But since stars are the once setting example, I personally would take his/her, but fairly sure he, star away. For Good. Mike :D

There are many solutions to aproblem like this, what works on this hand might be not working on the next 4. I think you have to stay constant, somewhat, and at least find out what specific carding opps play. Do they give count, attitude, suitpreference or something else in situation like that? Mike :D

I think I throw a ♥ and a ♣ on the 2 high ♦. Gives me better overall chances, I think. Mike :D

I pass, I am missing to many aces and don't have enough tricks. My golden rule is never to open a weak 2 with 2 aces, ever, hope my pd has heard that rule. Mike :D

I go with 2nd hand for sure. With first hand I would think for a while and try to find if pd has what it takes for slam. Mike :D
