The biggest thing on this hand is that there has been a lot of bidding from opps on 8 card suit and not much else. Must be because of shortness somewhere. And it becomes a hard hand to make with singleton ♥ in 1 hand a singl ♣ in other. Therefore I think it is best to play for singleton ♣ somewhere and it has to be LHO and ♥ 2-2. And now the hand is easy. But it did help out to know your opps and they seem to be stable well established pdship. Mike :D P.S. Rules are just guidelines. Zia doesn't always play the Ace when J doesn't get covered.

I feel the need for speed, that's why I fly around at 500+ mph. But I pass this hand. Mike :D

1 NT, but I better start watching out doing that in tournaments on BBO, since they keep track of frequent psychers now. And I am sure this they will qualify as a psych. Kinda start feeling like limited 199-er game, where you can only play stayman and blackwood and nothing else. Since you might have an advantage over your poor mislead opps :D Mike :D

If you play in a good field everybody will do pretty much the same. But if you play a different system compared to rest of the field, you will create many swings. Some good some bad. As long as the the good outscore the bad you do good. Mike :D

Inviting with a balanced 11 count, is playing pd for the perfect hand. If you feel insane or need the imps/MP's, bid 3 NT directly. Mike :D

I actually watched them play this tournament, and mosquito is nice to get opps of track. But on the 6♥ hand, I am not sure what the correct % play is. My personal feeling says to play J of ♥ at trick 2 and let it run. Is there anybody out there that can tell me the correct % play. And tell me how they got to it ? Mike :D

Could you just explain the logic here? Law of symetry. It is not a garantee, but it helps out a lot. Mike :D

1♦ in first seat. 2♦ in 4th seat, if I am playing weak NT, otherwise I either pass or open 3♦. Depends on state of match and if it is a midnite game. Don't play midnites to pass anything out. Mike :D

Pass. Don't really care for 2♠ response. I play pass as forcing in this situation and XX as negative, less then a K. Now my pd can XX with balanced hand and leave decision to me. Have made a few 2♣ XX with some overtricks, and I like them 100 % people wanna give me. Mike :D

4♠. But I would have X 3H first, but now that I didn't and pd bids twice, and I have 3 kings behind 1 NT opener. I just have to bid game. Mike :D

As I have said many many many times before, some people just don't belong as directors. If this happens to be a one time mistake o well. But I have feeling that, even with common reasoning, a regular level player ( director) should figure out that it was perfectly legal, and even alerted. This is also a case where opps called director because they played so bad they wanted something back. If up to me I would warn the ones that called director not to that too often. Mike :D

Something funky on this hand. I have 9 loser hand and pd passed 3♣. My pd's tend to bid with something looking like a bid. This is just not feeling right so I pass. Mike :P

It is a very good tool with weak NT. Making it even ahrder for opps. And if you haven't gone for 800's you don't compete enough. And with all the overbidders here on BBO am sure they will bid anyhow, since they just can't defend. You know us weak NT'ers are trying to steal every hand so they have to make sure they keep bidding :P Mike :D
