  1. I think 3♣ is a nice option, but I will bid 4♠. I don't want opps to have change to show 6 or 7 card ♥ suit over my 3♣. Let them try to find out at 5 level. GBB :)
  2. The first one, with the second hand you just pass or very very maybe bid 5♣. With the first hand if you want to TO you can bid 4 NT. But not with this type of hand. GBB :)
  3. I am bidding slam, but Grandslam might still be possible. I have two great cards for pd, and doubleton ♦ is great too. So I will bid 5♠ but I hope pd knows what it means or what I am asking for. GBB ;)
  4. Pass. But I will sometimes overcall 1♥, I have no set pattern for this, it's more a gutfeeling then anything. GBB ;)
  5. Look like you got to the right spot. GBB ;)
  6. I double and next bid from me is 4♥. GBB
  7. I ain't that old. What you gain is that they don't expect that kinda hand. Like you said who would open that kinda hand with a pass? Probably nobody, so I would possibly. Expect the unexpected... GBB
  8. I disagree a little with 2NT, so now I have to do something. 5♥ seems nice, letting pd know I have max for my minimum and good ♥ support, and let's not forget doubleton ♠. GBB
  9. The advantage of passing in rubberbridge game, is that it very rarely if maybe never gets passed out. In rubberbridge there is some trickery allowed, more so then in regular bridge. Kinda like playing MP's where you might decided to play 3NT with a 4-4 major suit fit. Gamble a little to get a better score, or in this case, more money. But then again I was playing rubberbridge for a living ( college living that is )before you were born, so you might have to stick around a little :P GBB
  10. 1 ) No, never in first or second seat. In 3rd seat everything is allowed. 2 ) 2♠, pd is asking me to Take Out, so I will do so. But I will not count my ♥Q for now. GBB :)
  11. There are too many variables for it to go wrong. But if pd has a little as ♥Q fifth and double or less ♠ we have very good shot. It's a hard hand, when I am down I would try for sure. Just to make sure it is not an unanimous I will bid 4 NT RKC. I have a reputation to uphold as an overbidder and underplayer. GBB :)
  12. Yes I wish you would have waited a little longer. I didn't even have time to post anything. Of course I was going to lead a♠ :) GBB
  13. ♠10 in my system, otherwise ♠J. Dummy has the ♠ stuff, hopefully pd has the Ace but even the Q is nice. GBB :)
  14. 1♠, but in a rubber bridge game I might just pass. GBB :)
  15. 3♠ with 2 NT close second. If it is in well established pdship I would bid 2 NT, showing the shape but not always a ♣ stopper. In all other cases 3♠. GBB :)
  16. Double or 5♠. I am not sure. It pretty much depends all on if pd has ♠ Ace or all other honors without the ace. He would bid the same with KQJXXXXX as with AKXXXXX. I think he has first, because I hope with second one he would take it a little bit easier, since he has defensive value. So I will have to bid 5♠. GBB
  17. TY :D It's going to be fun on the forums again. GBB
  18. You have a free cuebid with the North hand. Your lack of HCP has been made up whit your great distribution. Show what you have or don't have. GBB
  19. Pass I guess, double would be for TO concentrating on the minors. I will pass if pd doubles again, but otherwise I will just go for the plus. GBB :)
  20. Pd has something like [hv=s=skxxxhxdajxxxcxxx]133|100|[/hv] GBB :)
  21. You actually have a 60.1739% chance of 3 tricks. And I am sure others already have said it, but playing the ten in trick 1 is incorrect. Small to the K and then Ten ducked out. GBB
  22. I would bid 2♥ directly over 1NT, let my pd know what I have and have him/her make the decision. GBB
  23. I have no problem with 3♥, 2 and 4♥ are just too much for me. Even though I think the worst bid is 4♥, you told your story, I don't have to hear it again. GBB
