  1. Well Opener will deny Club stopper by bidding 2♠ (With a stop he passes first). Now responder has a tough call over 2♠ but I dont think he can bid anything but 2N
  2. Precision 1♦-1♠ 1NT-3♠ (GF we play ♠) 3NT-4♦ 4♠
  3. Precision 1♣-1♥ 8-11 any 1♠-2♣ 2♥-3♣ 4♣-4♥ (RKCB ♣ || 1KC) 4♠-5♦ (Queen Aks, yes) 6♣-7♣ (Invitational to 7, showing all Key Cards and extras|| accept..... ) 5NT would show that 1KC is missing or no Grand Slam interest at all
  4. Precision 1♣-1♦ 1N-2♣ (5♦4M any strenght OR 24+ bal|| ask for major) 2♠-2N (4Spades 16-21, invitational)
  5. Surely it doesnt demand. If I hold xxxx Kxxx xxx xx I am no sure if I will cuebid (I think its very close). But holding an ACE I think its mandatory.
  6. I would Splinter here, although I generally avoid to splinter with an ace. But here partner will always cue with an ace, if he cannot we are missing 2 aces so we are never playing 6.
  7. This sounds like a lot of fun. If I had more free time and a partner willing to learn it I would give it a try.
  8. Since you cant afford the loser I dont think x-K10xx is relevant at all.
  9. Precision: 1♣-1♦ 1♥-1♠# 1N - 2♥(17-19 ,maybe 5♥, not 5♠) 2♠-3♣ 4♠
  10. 1♣-1♦- (1♠) X -3♣ 4♣-4♥ (natural Slam try, cuebid) 6♣
  11. Precision 1♣-1♦ 1♥-1♠ 1NT-2♣ -2♦ (17-19 bal, stayman....) 3N
  12. 1♣-1♥ (8-11 no 5♠) 1♠ - ? Now depending if you bid 1N or 2♥ you will play 4♠ or 4♥
  13. Precision: 1♣-1♦ 1♠-2♠ 3♥-4♠
  14. I would try 4♦ at MP. I am not too worried about missing game and 4♦ gives them the chance to go really wrong. Usually when I open 5 all they can think of is double and I get a score at the bottom of the field.
  15. Precision 1♣-1♥ (8-11 any)-1♠ 1N-2♦ 2♥-3♥ 4♣-4♥ (4♣ denies ♠ control)
  16. Simple Strong club: 1♣-1♥ (8-11 any) -(1♠) 2♥-(2♠)-4♣ (fitjump) 5♥-6♥ (5♥ asks for trump quality)
  17. I would open 4NT if available to show both minors. If not I would probably pass.
  18. I would double and also I wouldnt have passed 1♠.
  19. I would double to show bust. For bad or worst I require an ace or 2 Kings for a positive response (King and queen is borderline, you can do both depending on shape, spots etc).
  20. 1. I would certainly force to game. With these good ♥s I am not going to investigate the 4-4 ♠ fit and will just texas 4♦. 2. I would never X, my choices are 1N and 2♣. Its close, but I vote 2♣. The suit is nice and KJ as a stoper is not best. But apparantly I have a real problem if it comes 3/4♥-p-p back to me.
  21. Hi, I would like to play with jfaria, a very good friend of mine, (unfortunalely not a poster).
  22. 1. I like opening 3. seat a lot and maybe I can talk myself in opening this 1♥ at MP, but I would never open 2. 2. I would finess South 3. Pass 4. If he reopens, he should reopen with 1N IMO. I have never played weak NT so I have no experience with this but pass and 1N look both reasonable. 5. 1♣ then reverse in ♥, this is really obvious. 6. ♦ 7. West 8. Bad luck
  23. We play transfers agains big club, which could get us in a lot of trouble especially vul. I talked to my partner later, a player who has been playing for 40 years and has international experience, and he said that he would have taken any bid for a transfer here.
  24. The system discription was really unclear to me, but I remember it didnt say strong club or something similar. They were using a mini convention card, where there is no field to specify this. We were playing only 2 boards against them, so in a limited time I couldnt go throw all openings and responses to try and understand the system logic. All I could do is scan quickly and couldnt find for example a strong or GF 2♣ opener.
