If partner has like solid diamonds, the CA, and a stiff heart then 6C is very cheap. But if I pass I expect partner to bid with that hand. Pass.

Gnasher I think you need two raises to 3 or else the range is way too wide. I mean I'm sure there are some 7 counts and some 11 counts you would raise wtih.

North had a very obvious 3H overcall. The double of 3C should be t/o of spades imo. If it showed clubs I think north should double 3N just to let partner know that something funny is going on.

I think you are too hard on 2C. Some people have not discussed 2S, or some have discussed it as 44 inv in which case 2C is normal. Also, I don't understand why 2S is normal, you want to play in hearts always so why not just bid 3H and see if partner can cuebid 3S?

4H is terrible.

2N, yes if partner bids 3N we are playing it there.

If 2S denies spades then I would bid 3S also.

Why would north not double?

Whatever I play I think that 2C must show the majors. I like Landy better than almost everything.
