It's addressed for review. Currently 1M - X - 2M/3M/4M are all semi-constructive starting from 5+ ( and up to 10 ) points, and 3/4+ cards 1M - X - 2NT is the only LR+ forcing.

Lebensohl sequence removed in v31 when double comes from passed hand. So GIB will behave naturally and in particular case will just bid 2♠. This includes also previously affected sequence like: P - P - 2♥ - P P - X - P - ? ( again naturally instead of Leb now ).

Thanks for reporting. Fixed ( by not allowing to be slippery in judgement of HCP's amount when is being invited ) in v31. Of course fix applies for all quant 4NT ( 2NT opening, 2♣, etc sequences ).

And GIB plays NMF after 2NT rebid. 1minor - 1Major 2NT -> - 3om shows 5+ cards 7+TP - 3minor is 4+ in major and 4+ cards in opened minor 7+TP. - 3Major shows 6+ cards 7+TP - 3OM shows 4-4 / 5+5+ depend on hearts or spades is primary major.

3♠ and 4♣, etc 3rd suit from opener are natural. And 3M still shows 5+, so opener is not aware that responder has 6+. Once you have 5332 and not all stoppers what would you rebid on 3minor anyway?

Improved in v31. Now will show something like: 3♦ -> Natural, not forcing -- 4+ ♦; 5+ ♠; 8- total points

Currently for GIB in such auction: Pass by partner shows exactly 2 cards in the transferred major. XX by responder turns into GF and shows 10+ ( so XX and 3♦ later shows same length, just 10+TP and GF ) All other unbid suits are 9 or less TP and natural. While partner has exactly 2 cards in primary major, it's almost certain he has 3+ in side unbid suit. With something like 5-7HCP and 5-5 or 5M6m hand you will unlikely prefer 5-2 while you have 5-3 or 5-4. Opener could XX to show nofit+max or pass with nofit+min. So based on partner with min values new suit just comes for pass/correct. It will be reviewed for something more flexible, but meantime it's as GIB plays it.

In v31, GIB will obey on partner's 3NT and will pass, not correct to 4♥. Btw, GIB requirements for high transfers are: 11+TP with 6+M or 9-10TP with 7+M GIB mild slam ( 1N - 2♦/2♥ - 2♥/♠ - 4♥/♠ uncontested) is 14-15TP 6M(322)/7222

Improved in v31 as now bidding new suit like here will no longer be TOX shape. So here 4♦ would show : -- twice rebiddable ♦; 17+ total points Similar approach ( where previously it was TOX shape too ): 1♥ --- X --- 2♥ --- 3♣ P/3♥ - 3♠ and etc.

Thanks for reporting. It has been improved in next v31. In particular hand GIB will not be allowed to go over 3♥ ( using 3♠ ) as partner passed on 2♥ and made competitive endpoint no higher than 3♥ unless we could bid normally new suit between these two points.

Thanks for reporting. Improved in v31 to prefer major 4th ( other major ) or hearts ( having 4MM and 2♦ opening same sequence ).

In next version, v31, there would be something like final destination. like competitive endpoint. So once pair passed on some contract, say like here 2♥, GIB will not likely go through more then 3♥ while competes further if opps continue. So here East would be allowed to bid up to 3♥. Once human ( GIB-partner sometimes ) bids new suit despite approved with two passes suit, that final destination could be lifted based on new circumstances. I.e. 1♥ - P - 2♥ - 3♣ P - P - 3♥ - 3♠ 4♥ - ? (P or 4♠ ) Initial 3♣pp seems like our endpoint is nohigher than 4♣, but once partner bids new suit it changes endpoint and partner could bid 4♠ more likely as defense approach. GIB would likely stay calm and tweak is toward calmness, but it should treat better where pair tried to stop and not go so much higher like now.

Thanks, It's fixed in v31. Also i think there was previous thread with similar hand where North-GIB passed with similar 5440 hand. Would double now in all cases. V30 used to pass in approx 30%.

Thanks for reporting. It's fixed now. There are rules, just GIB passed due mistake in rules. Now it bids as it should: 6♣ -> 5 ♣; 3-5 ♦; 2- ♥; 4 ♠; 17+ total points
