  1. Thanks for reporting. Fixed in next version - v33.
  2. Thanks for reporting it. 1) For first case where GIB corrects to 4M the sequence 1NT - 2♦/♥ 2♥/♠ - 3 invite 3NT -> here if human selects this, GIB won't move. Could it be Windows version loaned robots as i couldn't replicate this otherwise? For second case it will be corrected for next version according to case 1).
  3. GIB won't introduce 4+ that easily, but in theory it's possible to have such hand( as per how GIB uses Stayman to have 8TP ). 9TP unlikely. I.e. the hand xx.KQxx.xx.Jxxxx will pass Stayman Later won't bid 3♥, but it fullfils the requirements for 8TP and 4+.
  4. In next version the hands of 4th seat Doubler will promise basic things and won't add extras when they are forced. I.e. 1♥ - Pass - Pass - X 2♥ - 3♥ - Pass - 3♠ -> -- 3+ ♣; 3+ ♦; 2- ♥; 4+ ♠; 9+ total points Similar for this case where 4♣ would promise -> 4+ ♣; 3+ ♦; 3+ ♥; 2- ♠; 9+ total points So partner here will pass over 4♣ and after simulation it might reach 5♣ but at least 80% less cases than before where it almost imminent. Now would be something like 8-12% of the cases. However note taken to be addressed about similar hands first call.
  5. Thanks for reporting. Will be addressed about what North's behavior should be over such high jumps as overcall.
  6. 6NT needs 13+HCP at the moment, bidded directly or after new suit on next round, by responder. So 3NT would be fixed to be used with all hands under 12HCP or directly over 2NT if no better contract seems possible which might be hands like 4♦333/44minors 32 or on next round, once there is no major fit found. To be found such major fit thought, GIB needs 5D4M, so with 4D4M, major will prevail always.
  7. North's hand seems too loaded with 16HCP to pass or double 2♠. GIB doesn't have at the moment other options to express these TOX values at this level of 2♠. Double would show length in spades and suggesting to penalize. 3♠ forces doubler, so 4♣ explanation's promises will be reduced. But even if South shows the minimum of this double 9,10+HCP, is it clear pass by North with 4th fit? What should North do with such hand or South with little more points over such forcing call? Next time would be even easier. 1♠ - P - P - X P - 2♠ - P - 3♥ Is responder allowed to bid game now with similar hand or not?
  8. Despite the 6th trump, the values are still under 13TP, in this case exactly 13TP. Unfortunately also 13HCP, but kings are in the short suits, so no bonuses for it. Not a full opener doesn't necessarily means 9TP or 11TP. It just means 13 or less TP. Polished the invite 2♦, which would be used more frequently with 13-14TP and without secondary suit to invite with. So GIB now will bid 2♦ with this hand, instead of pass.
  9. Thanks for reporting. The sequence here is showing pseudo-ace as it's the lowest possible cuebid so GIB could overbid agreed suit to show strength and doesn't jump to avoid showing Spliter. The requirements here are slam possible values and losers looking as 1 or less. However will be addressed for improvement as the information it carries is not quite sufficient and accurate.
  10. Thanks for reporting. Note taken and will be reviewed if based on HCP or based on TP this double could be given. GIB would give the same call even if partner wasn't passed. ( reopening double )
  11. Thanks, fixed in next version. GIB will runaway without promising extras once partner showed such. So 4♣ will be found here without problem.
  12. Thanks for reporting. Will be discussed for appropriate solution i guess close to 2♣ - 2♦ 2M - 3M where 3M is GF+ values.
  13. 2NT over 1m - 2m 2x - 2NT is currently GF promising the rest stoppers, suggesting 3NT as final contract from responder's side. Similarly followup as 2♥/2♠ promising stopper in this suit and GF values. Will be reviewed again for improvement. Will write about further changes in same topic.
  14. Thanks for reporting. Fixed in v33 about opener's possible continuation over cappelletti ( assuming both others have passed before or after intervention). GIB won't do, but it will recognize the length. It will promise 5 cards and balanced shape. In the example -> 3♦ -> -- 2-3 ♣; 5 ♦; 2-4 ♥; 2-4 ♠; 17 HCP; 18- total points 3H would be -> -- 3- ♦; 4+ ♥; 8- HCP; 8-9 total points But GIB will be more eager to stay based on 5 cards.
  15. Thanks for reporting. Both things will be fixed in next v33. First is not related with last version. It was same problem since at least 4 versions ago. Second is partly related with new version.
  16. Fixed in next version. Will not add extra points to bid slam.
  17. No doubt my english has plenty issues and i am repeatedly apologizing if some ( hoping not most of ) phrases or expressions are misunderstood. :) I try not to impose and providing the clearest information about GIB. The fact is it's not always easy to be clear.
  18. Thanks for reporting. Fixed in next version. It won't find problem to pick the fit call. Btw, 3♠ would have mean: 5+ ♦; 3+ ♠; 10-14 total points
  19. Thanks for reporting. Should be improved in next version as for cases like these where fit was emphatically denied to be showing some penalty length as GIB would stay.
  20. 4+♠, 10-13TP. Here it looks like both calls could be used. Priority ( and respectively book ) bid leans toward Double as long it covers responsive double as well.
  21. Thanks for reporting. It's been fixed in next version which is coming soon. v31.
  22. It's about to be improved, but meantime over 2X weak opening -> 2NT forcing, 3NT reply means AKQ of the suit. Repeating 3X as long as GIB's other calls mean feature it's kind of nothing-else-to-do.
  23. 2♠ ( cuebid suit they've shown ) confirms only GF. Also in next version would be added something which GIB currently doesn't use, Splinters over the rebid of minor opening. So here the hand would even use splinter instead, confirming GF + fit in clubs. or the auction would be: 1♣ - X - 1♥ - 1♠ 2♣ - P - 3♠ -> !Splinter -- 3+ ♣; 4+ ♥; 1- ♠; 12+ HCP; 13+ total points; forcing Similar behavior would apply also in uncontested auction. Jump in suit over responder's major would be splinter. Otherwise GIB would use either opponent's suit to force or if on disposal the 3rd suit.
  24. Limit raise or better needs 11+. Here it has 10, so 4♥ fires instead.
  25. Thanks for reporting. Fixed in v31. It won't take NT's calls without stopper. Also explanation of NT's would deny 3- cards and would be 2- cards as with 3 cards GIB is going to bid it on first place. Same if has to rebid opening minor. Still will deny 3 cards. NT's explanation would also miss the phrase Invitational to 3NT. Neither 2NT would be strictly 14HCP but range 11-14. So a hand like: ♠Q♥Jx♦Ax♣AJxxxxxx would open 1♣ , rebid 2♣ and over 2♦ would bid 3♣ and so a hand like: ♠J10x♥AJ♦Jx♣AJxxxx while hand like: ♠Qxx♥Jx♦Ax♣AJxxxx would open 1♣, rebid 2♣ and over 2♦ would bid 2NT now.
