  1. I actually bid 4H. Let partner know there is no A, nor singleton, nor void here. I see 4H no higher.

"3D is not solid suit" -- setting trump. Then I advance cue bid 2S (create a force) before repeat (with a jump if I must) to show SOLID diamonds and get D-slam try on the table.
  3. Catch up to present theory on some aspects. Look back to it's precursor: Roman to ask why this/these changes. Then you can develop a very powerful, robust system. Blue was far ahead of its time -- many aspects deserve expert acceptance.
  4. Don't you make enough 3NT because you punted 3NT to not exasperate this one?
  5. 5C. They want to jump high: 4S. So do I.
  6. I have a solid-suit Spade bid. Here 4NT asks S-tops, not A-ask, not keys. I try that.
  7. I suppose West 4NT was A-ask. I much prefer 4NT as "I got slammy stuff raise" -- here 3xAces. East sees H-void may go grand.
  8. I do use 2NT asking good/bad controls. Then I could ask "what in spades"? Any but S:xxx looks grand.
  9. Which of 2S, Dbl, 3H gets partner to 'see' 5+Clubs to AK is slammy? He passed over 1M to bid 1NT, very likely he has 5+Clubs. I want to encourage clubs or D-xxx + CA.

West made a "I want to suggest higher" instead of double to suggest "I fear higher". Yet East with 4-support + 5-suit to AK + DA didn't go?? A-stounding!
  11. Clearly no pressure on opponents shown. Was that your intent? EG. no light openers, no mini-NT, no 2-bids to obstruct. Responses then, I assume are dedicated also to pure constructive bidding. Not my cup of tea. Let's see you develop this.
  12. 6C. They WANT to slam this hand. Give them another chance.
  13. Weren't these choices made to facilitate the distribution relays -- the hallmark of the system? Little concern for right-siding. So whichever most efficiently answers relay is your answer.
  14. What does pass by partner then 2D later show? Different from 1D over XX, I guess. Lots of questions for this rare, thus an-agreed situation. I hope meta-agreements carry this auction. Here strong forces at least 2NT or raised.
  15. Weak 2 as well-defined limit bid (just shy of opener) OR as a preempt? I'm in the preempt camp. Let 7-11 with decent suit reopen.

South must be afraid there is no entry North -- way too pessimistic!
  17. Uncommon convention: C+M Q-bid. And haven't discussed these responses?? Bizarre! Or is this intended as "what do experts consider here? so this partnership can agree responses? That makes more sense but why not show what you already agree to get that peer reviewed?
  18. I'm already out of this one. My 2C showed C+M; 3C if single suited clubs. So I have a 2D Q-bid asking M +min/max. I'd choose 4H as P/4S, but asking H: Hx to let this play.

'kayin801' South is a chikun. And a chicken. Those are not the same only spelled different. South also cheek-un.
  20. No, I want a piece of 4S if they try that.
  21. Where are the majors?? Do opponents have Major overcall MM takeout? Get up on them 3D --but they didn't bid. Is partner sitting with 5S+5H? Let them find M-fit at 2M over 2D, then ding them on misfit if they 3M? I try this.
  22. I offer one top H plus maybe a C-ruff as tricks. I'm not encouraging partner on this.

Get to a "what you got in clubs ask?" Now I can prospect this hand well.
  24. First bid 5C. No suggestion of defending this hand. 5C after partner doubles 4S -- particularly poor defense for a free 4C bid.
  25. Are the responses to 2C similar to "GoLady" -- [forget who to attribute] or into shape relays? Else? Edit (GoLady is archived --hard to find) After 1H:2C: 2D 5+ Hearts, 1-suited. Allows 2NT to ask for shortness. 2H 4 Spades, 2-suited. Allows 2NT to ask for shortness. 2S 4+ Clubs, 2-suited. Allows 2NT to ask for shortness. 2NT Exactly 4 Diamonds, 2-suited. Allows 3C to ask for shortness. 3C 5+ Diamonds, 2-suited. Allows 3D to ask for shortness. 3D 4-5-0-4 distribution, 3-suited. 3H Warns of sub-minimal 1H opener. 3S 0-5-4-4 distribution, 3-suited. 3NT 4-5-4-0 distribution, 3-suited. Meanwhile, after 1S:2C: 2D 4+ Hearts, 2-suited. Allows 2NT to ask for shortness. 2H 5+ Spades, 1-suited. 3D 5-4-0-4 distribution, 3-suited. 3H 5-0-4-4 distribution, 3-suited. 3S Warns of sub-minimal 1S opener. 3NT 5-4-4-0 distribution, 3-suited.
