Hallo, about guard squeeze (and so on) see for all endings my post 36 in "Play 7 NT". Because lacking comunication in double threat it necessary to provide with impasse situation in other suit. The five endings become from double squeeze (an opp loses a card of controll in double threat that passes in the suit of unilateral becaming double threat without comunication ,as you could see ) acting infact "on the last free winner".

I think this hand is not good for 2♠ that required a monocolor weak with only a bidding , for barrage because has a second suit of 5 cards , instead is in minimum force (14-16) and in system that i use (Stayman) not 6-5 but 5-5 spade-club is managed bidding 1♣ for bidding 1♠ in second round and inserting plastic valutation of the hand (+/- 1 point , +/1 a card) to treate like a 5-5.

Probably is indifferent : the hand has a lot of surplus , a point of crisis is in clubs but Q J exchange with K is minus probable , there are squeeze possibilities . (But in international forum need not use english language ?)

King of heart is on side ?

[I am not disparaging :Alice in Wonderland means that i wonder simply myself for not to have bidding 2 ♣. Why not bidding with 2 suited-hands is it not equivalent to 1♣ every distribution ?

Alice in Wonderland : probably it counts only Milton Work points (9+9=18) instead of distributional pointing (Goren + M.W.) and/or [better] Courtney losers.

I don't think you realize : infact little for Q for K and returning club down 1 because you cannot leads club and diamond J..already squeeze works for this case.

Infact i intended another thing: what i said is referred to bidding to reach at the end and when part is passed not in this case, sorry.

Usually a declaration of this type ( pass then bidding ) denotes an hand like that in post 11(force + distribution : 6/7 p. with 6-4).

Why not 2♣ opening ? When if not ? This hand has 3 losers and out of other consideration (see "Counting Q.T. or D.T." in Find my content ) is it just to bid so; then partner is positive ( 1♠ ) and you can apply Reese convention to show a compact suit (diamond here ) bidding it with a jump ( 4 [ Di] ) asking to numbers of Aces ( first step = 0 Ace, second step= 1 Ace - see in Find my content "Bidding approach" to complete use [my post is in italian language ]). It is infact presumible that heart be out of play with this hand [..also ?! ] but, however, is possible to manage too this one.

I have seen the video of The Current : it is nice and refined and comments are justyfied ; i think you could appreciate "Something about you look tonight"by Elton John (it is strange that song we don't hear more around in radio probably for commercial interests but i'm not sure of this )

I have found another (i don't think be the same of yours) with similar statement (ending bidding diamond 7 West leads club Queen). Why don't tell us ?
