  1. I agree provided that our agreements are in order and partner will recognize it as voidwood and know what to do if they bid 5S. If this is not the case, I bid 6H. It doesnt have to be voidwood, just show a void and slam invitation, exactly what you have, partner will now estimate his hand based on your spade void.
  2. I also write notes for most players i play with, my notes are usually about beheviour, and skill, also if i someone is leaving in the middle of a game ,he/she is sent to my enemy list.
  3. I would bid 2h, i believe its best to bid what you have fast , the chances of you getting doubled in 2h and also for this to be a bad score arent too high. the worse is to pass first and reopen later.
  4. I see the problem but this problem is only when partner has only the AK heart of the keycards, only a club lead only when partner has no K of club or sgl, or even the Q. How will bidding 4d make it better ? will you know more about the cards you need ?
  5. Not that i see how you are going to make 3nt here, but even if you could it doesnt matter, you cant get 100%, misho has a nice sentence about perfection.
  6. Not only that i know very little about moscito, i also dont know much about relay system, when should you prefer to relay and when should you prefer to bid without relays. anyway good luck, i think i already shared all my knowlege in here :D
  7. I think many people set their level for the wrong ressons, most of the time they put higher level then they are because either they think they are better then they really are or they like others to think they are better, on the other side there are people who think its better to undervalue thier level because they do not want to barg about being good, there is also a big factor for the name of the level, people wont put expert if they are not considered experts in their counties. I take it differently, for me the level is just a way to meet other people of more or less same skill or atleast know who you're playing with, I put expert even tho i consider myself low expert in my country, but on BBO im better then the avarage expert, so puting advance will not help anyone, im not trying to fix the world by puting adv and hoping everyone will do the same, just adjust my level to the BBO level scale.
  8. Its hard for me to comment on a system i know so little about and you know so much about, but i think 2h should be a natural bid with 4 card support, i guess with this hand you would bid 1h Relay now but there is an importent premptive value in bidding 2h with 4 card.
  9. I voted for 5d, my second choice is 3d, and third choice is pass. I hate 4D here (which most choose), 4d usually just help them bid 4M, which as i see it is the best contract for them. MP i would bid just the same.
  10. Pass Pass Pass add an ace to my hand and still pass, without any problem, add two aces and ill be in a problem since i wouldnt want to pass it but have no easy bid.
  11. This is what i find best to suit you wishes, if you arent sure this is legal show this proposal to a director or maybe sent it to your bridge federation. System A [NV and (1st or 2nd sit)] ----------- 1NT = 10-12 2sp+ 2 under premptive 1c/1d/1h/1s/2c/2d as you descibed above. System B [vul or 3rd or 4th sit] ----------- 1NT = 14-16 2sp+ simple weak premtives. 1c/1d/1h/1s/2c/2d as you descibed above.
  12. This is not possible, I spoke with more than one director. So I need to choose either one or the other. It can't be possible , maybe you didnt understand me. Example - 1nt is 14-16 unless 1st or 2st sit non vulnarable. No one can tell me that this rule is more then 2 systems. ( i believe its only one but sure not three)
  13. First i would make sure you understand this rule because it doesnt sound right to me, i mean a system that 1nt is 14-16 when vulnarable and 10-12 when non vul is imo one system and not two systems. Now lets say you are right about the rules, i would not go by online one of the condition but i would make two systems based on both conditions, for example system A open 1nt 10-12 , system B open 1nt 14-16 use system A in seats x and vul y use system B on seats z and vul k
  14. It just seems wrong to play a system when you know someone very good played it and decided to change.
  15. I watch their convention cards and they keep changing their mind about how to open GF hands, from 2000 to 2002 they played almost exactly the same as kalin-rumen from bulgaria and open 1c with the GF hands (RED system), but then in 2003 bermuda they changed it and opened a strong 2c (green system), the rest of the system had only minor changes (like passing 1c with 0-3 hcp), i wonder how they played at cavendish, is there a log for bidding ?
  16. How is this working with the law of tatal tricks ? bidding when there are about 17 total trumps . And another question what do you bid over 4h with AKX XXX AKXX AKX
  17. I would give up the penalty double, its not very common after you open 10-12, but even more importent, your 10-12 NT is a kind of premptive, your opponents if they are smart will play constractive overcalls on it, unlike after strong NT they now have alot to lose if they miss geting to games, so their overcalls rates to be good.
  18. Im trying to undersatand the double on the second hand. Lets say you have AKJxx ♥ x ♦ A109xx ♣ xx This is close to the first hand and i guess you would double with it too. Now partners bid 5c, will you pass or bid 5d ? I am guessing 5D , now partner with Qxx xxx x Axxxxx do you want him to bid 4sp now ? If the answer is no - then you are midding 5sp makes for 5D down alot. If the answer is yes, then what if you had the hand from the second double ? AKx ♥ Kx ♦ AKQJTx ♣ Kx
  19. lol I guess you will never understand me, i think you have some problems with me that doesnt have much to do with bridge, i can guess but dont know. Have a nice day.
  20. Psychs and tactical bids maybe working for you online, but if you are playing serious bridge and this kind of bid is normal enough for you to put it on forum, then your partner should alert this bid and your opponents should give no much credit to your bids.
  21. 4h X p 5c p 5D what does partner suppose to understand from this ? I would think you got two suiter spade and diamond and with QJx xxx x QJxxxx I would correct you to 5sp
  22. About the lead, i choose the K of heart because as i see it, we need to be agressive on this diffence and i cant say on which suit, it can easily be club, therefore i lead the K of heart which will not sell a quick trick and its more felxiable, if declerer has the hearts i can still have a chance to find my tricks elsewhere.
  23. 1. 4sp , if LHO doubled (i kind of hope he will) ill take it out to 5c. 2. 6D (unless partner was passed hand which i would settle for 5D) 3. KH
  24. you mean big double ??? if you want to show the club andf ignore the diamond its ok , just bid 2c. double is imo is a very bad bid, that have nothing to do with this hand.
