  2. You're playing with a regular partner, and you pick up: [hv=pc=n&s=saqt9732ha5d92cak&d=n&v=0&b=1&a=3dp3sp4cp]133|200[/hv] IMPs 4 clubs is natural, showing a 4 card suit. How will you bid?
  3. [hv=pc=n&w=s7haj62d532cqj976&d=e&v=n&b=2&a=3h4s5h5sp6sppp]133|200[/hv] What's your lead?
  4. What's the best way to bid this? [hv=pc=n&s=sq8hkqjt8752dact6&d=e&v=n&b=2&a=1c1h1s2c(limit%20raise+)p]133|200[/hv] Should I just bid 4♥ or is my hand too good for that? actual hand:
  5. Some crazy, crazy hand where my partner and I had an 11 card spade fit, RHO was dealt 7 clubs to the AKQ, and LHO had 8 hearts topped by AQJ. We competed to the 5 level on the Law, pushing my left hand opponent to 6♥. Of course, we misdefended and it made, whereas 6♥ went down two at the other table.
  6. You're playing with about equally skilled players in IMPs, and on the very first board, you get this auction. [hv=pc=n&s=shaj8dkt6ckq98532&d=n&v=0&b=1&a=pp1c1d1h1sd(support)1n(strongish%2C%20support)2c2s]133|200[/hv] What do you bid? Actual hand contained in the spoiler:
  7. If I played exclusion I would treat all of them as exclusion.
  8. I actually did pass at the table, and my partner, holding AKxx J10xxx - AKQ8, was speechless.
  9. I would open ♠AQ5 ♥AKQ109842 ♦- ♣A8 with 2 clubs, but no less. Actually, I'd open ♠AQ5 ♥AKQ109842 ♦A ♣8 with 2 clubs.
  10. [hv=pc=n&w=saqhakqd98754cak4&d=n&v=b&b=13&a=ppp2cp2dp2np3hp3sp3np]133|200[/hv] Even though you have only 2 card support for your partner's spades, you do have 5 low diamonds... Are you more willing to play in 3NT or 4♠? I just really despise the diamond holding if partner has a singleton diamond, so I was considering converting.
  11. [hv=pc=n&s=skq54hakqdaq6432c&d=s&v=n&b=15&a=1dpp1n(11-14)]133|200[/hv] Do you double this?
  12. Asking for a feature, 3♦. Although we are starting to transition into ogust.
  13. This was played at my club. So, no screens.
  14. Playing with a regular partner at matchpoints, you hold: ♠ - ♥ xx ♦ AQJxxx ♣ 109xxx in first seat. You open 2♦. Unfortunately, you forgot that you switched from weak 2♦ to flannery just today (it was partner's idea, obviously). Partner responds with an asking 2NT. What do you do now? 3 of a minor shows 3-4 in the minor, and 4 of a minor has no agreement. Edit: no screens were had in my scenario.
  15. You are playing a goulash tournament on bridgebase (IMPs) and you come across this hand. [hv=pc=n&s=sakq82hj9765432dc&n=sjt74hadqt976543c&d=w&v=n&b=12&a=5c5d6cd(indicates%20both%20majors)7c7sppp]266|200[/hv] The ace of clubs is led from east. What is your play? And no, I do not like the bidding.
  16. I pass, hoping my partner doesn't have Kx KQJ10x AKxx x or something similar.
  17. If I play with either of my normal partners I will bid 3♥ on that, but if I play with a random player I would bid 2, as my normal partners might be able to interfere more accurately with a fit, and can stay out with less of one.
  18. denied I bid one 1♥ and double later to show this exact shape.
  19. He banged down the ace and then ruffed a spade with the ten?
  20. [hv=pc=n&s=s7643hqdat2ca7432&d=e&v=e&b=6&a=ppp1cp1sp3s(16-18%2C%20possibly%20balanced)p]133|200[/hv]
  21. What's interesting about this is if I trump the club and pull trump, I might go down if trumps are 4-1, as I have no transportation to my diamonds if the finesse loses. I'll take the obvious line anyway, an 84% chance is good enough for me.
