I cant really understand why the new layout is more modern/trendy/fancy. All I can say it made me tired, and I did not spend today more time here as usually.

After I deleted all cookies on my PC and restarted I get this button displayed now.

In the 7m-throw situation the goalie has more chances to save if he doesn't stay on the line. This tricky throw over the head is not so easy as it looks like. It requires the perfect feinting and a fine handoff technique. This way to throw is not so rare in professional handball. And there is really no reason for goalie's embarrassment.

There is much more physical contact between the players than f. ex in basketball, but this game is not very hard and fouls are not so dangerous. For sure less than in soccer. My injury comes from a car accident I had two months ago.

As a left-handed player I would never throw low to the right corner, because having the right foot on the floor my body gets to the left side and this angle would make the throw diagonal what increases chances to keep it by the goalie. ( he stands usually 2,5-3m for the goal line ) Anyway nobody voted for it here.

Considering how extraordinary strong this 64er field really is, I think the "mysterious" seedings have not a lot of influence... there are now all top world class players in, many de facto national teams "hidden" behind unknown names, and they will play against each other already in R64 or R32. Spingold and Vanderbilt are very tough KO tournaments, but this field beats them by far. After all, this is World Championship, nobody should expect a "bit of luck" in his bracket. Robert

OKbridge came out in 1990 I think, I started playing on it (all ASCII text client run on Unix systems) in 1991. This when it was still "the internet" and no one really knows about it except computer geeks, and "www" as such does not exist yet, first web browser being invented around same time! My fault, in everyday speach... I wrote WWW and meant Internet, these are of course not one and the same. Anyway I am a little surprised that there was online bridge play already at the beginning of the 90's.
