Already to get legal residence permit (carte de sejour) in Monaco is not so cheap and easy, to get the citizienship considering it improbable. Only 10 year residence entitles the applicant to apply for citizenship and very very few of this applies are later positive decided. But Monaco lives in 100% from the own image, and this new team can be another part of it....so the general rules seem not to be valid in this case. Anyway, at the end The Prince decides it all :)

Just 2cents... Why not?...The rules of the WBF & EBL are strong and clear (IMO fair), and it seems ( after the case B-Z) there is a really serious proving procedure. To be the owner of the residence permit is not enough, they prove strong if the player really live there. For this reason B-Z have never played a single hand for the official Team Russia.

Not more. Its true, Euro would be so strong and stable as D-Mark so long the Maastricht Criteria ( Euro Convergance Criteria) are fulfiled by the €-zone countries. And in the first years of the Euro it seemed the members take these criteria very serious and be disciplined by only a minor cases of violation. What we see today, is slowly but continously erosion of them. The Maastricht Criteria exist still and are valid, but only "on paper". Creative accounting or open and massiv breaking these rules in the crisis times. The criteria about annual goverment deficit and goverment debt? Nobody cares serious about it. Next point: "Long-term interest rates: The nominal long-term interest rate must not be more than 2 percentage points higher than in the three lowest inflation member states." I posted above the current rates... 2%? nowdays they = 8% etc... etc.. The difference between D-Mark and Euro is quite simple: The Directors of the Bundesbank would never allowed that what the european politicans have done in the last time.

Sure, with Sarah Palin at the top we would be out of all problems within' a few months ;-) But seriously, in my opinion we are in the process of the European integration already 2 or 3 steps too far. The politicans introduced all what is in EU theoretical makeable, but they did not care much about if it really would stable work in the future. What stable works IMO: Europe as a big common market, free trade zone, duty free zone, free movement for the people ( Schengen Treaty ) What dont work IMO: Eurozone, common foreign and defence policy, >>> these exist only in EU speaches and "on the paper" No way to get all 27 countries to the real agreements in this case, nor today, neither in the future. No difference, the people on the streets of Berlin or Warsaw think the same >>> Brussel's bureaucracy overhelming slowly but continuously all life areas in the EU countries etc with its neverending "regulationsmania"

The fathers of the Euro ignored completely the fact that the southeuropean countries have used the currency devaluation xx times as a main mean of endeavourning to restore marginal competitiveness since the end of the II WW. These ways were unthinkable in countries like Germany, Netherlands, Austria etc.. To bring these two groups together in one currency zone with the Maastricht Treaty was 100% a political decision, and this is always bad for the economy. The consequenses in this way made decisions we can see since 2 years. I cant really imagine that in 10 years Euro will exist in exactly the same form as today.
