well fwiw, I voted 1 heart overcall and 3 spades this time, I cant see how X can be right 2nd time, unless ur hoping for a penalty X, highly unlikely with openrs hcp and ur own and LHO supporting spades if he was very weak with long spades he would bid at a higher level than 2 spades (so for that I give him the balance missing HCP) I think 2 spades Xmay be very hard to set also if opp opened 1 diamond and he has an unbalanced hand with spades prob 4 + of them he has a good chance to to make 2 spades on ruffss this could score well even if ur pard has 4 spades or 5

I do not consider tipping as any form of charity or begging, if the money was going into the pocket of the woman serving me, then, I would happily tip when I am happy with the service received. Things to consider are shared or pooled tips, I find this personally repugnant and distasteful (a tip is for an individual not a team effort and certainly not for the managers or owners of a restaraunt) Would you tip someone that was a delight to deal with but served up crap food? the food was paid at a known cost, the service is extra and voluntry wouldyou tip a hairdresser that made you look like a convict? No, so tipping in the US is discretionary or mandatory? Also some of the restaraunts that I frequent in the UK, have service charge included 10 or 15% this is pooled money and I don't particulaly agree with it, but I will still tip a good waitress even if a service charge is included. if someone is paid such crap wages (in the UK, there are benefits that boost their wages to a decent living standard, this of course could be debated) so why do they need to relay on tips (which are taxed in the UK) In America I assume wages are so low because you are able to exploit the poor and needy or illegal imigrants that are only trying to get a better life and they have to rely on tips

I have stated at a few tables, (usually when thereare not many about at a particular time of day) I am no expert and if I am not good enough, ask me to leave no offence will be taken. I have asked people to leave because I dont like their behaviour or something and most do, with out a fight or a slanging match. I think it is the hosts responsibility to make the call, if you are good enough to judge someone not to be the skill level you have advertised at your table, YOU should ask them to leave and possibly message privately the opp to inform them of your actions, if you wish to keep them at your table

1/. Build a huge Military base near the main oilfields. When the oil starts to run out, we wont have to invade to protect our supply 2/. Pull out and let them sort their own problems out. I can't see why they removed Saddam Hussain, there is no guarentee that his elected successor will be any less of a murderous bastard (I assume the only way to enter the elections is if the American or British Governements approve them) so it will not be a totally free election 3/. A novel idea here, Pull out totally and apologise for poking our noses into their buissness and reimburse them for all the damage we have caused. 4/. Ask them to patch up their differences with their neighbours and work together to possibly become the (possibly)richest ot Strongest power in the world, think of the good they could do with all that money benifiting all their own people instead of a few spoilt elite 5/. Let them remain at loggerheads with the world until one of the lunatics with nothing to lose gets nuclear weapons and decides to start a war with the west 6/. I think a lot of TD's make this mistake, just because it is easy to run a tourney occasionally with 1TD and 60 tables, they then think, that, 1 TD managing 40 tables is ok, you really should work on a lower ratio of tables (in my humble opinion), I think ur sugestions have been made before and nothing has happened (for what ever reason) an easy way to manage this issue is to use pen and paper, just write the name and table no down clear all boxes and ask each what the issue is, that way you can prioritise your time better
