it was the 3 diamond bid that made me back off I had no way of knowing how many losers I had here, I think my 4nt was a major flaw after 3 diamonds

Hi I have held two informal gatherings in a hotel over the last 4 years and I would like to organise another one early next year Some suggestions were made as to what people would like altered, changed improved upon, some things that were suggested were, a more structured weekend, with some tournaments and maybe a teacher available, definately a more appropriate time of year not during school holidays etc etc I have found a good venue with decent facilities and at a decent price room, breakfast, buffet lunch, free tea and coffee all day, free parking and main room hire, there is a nice bar lounge, though this won't be free. The cost would be £200 per person for the weekend (two day stay) and include everything except evening meal, though this I can sort out if it is an issue amongst those interested. There is 25% built in to cover costs of hiring tables and sundries, maybe covering costs for a TD for the weekend and some one to do a learning session of some kind. This would not be run for a profit in anyway and anything extra would be incorporated for the next event as it would be nice to do this on an annual basis. Currently, I would like to hear from people that would be prepared to help in anyway to achieve a well structured enjoyable weekend for all I would also like some feedback from people that have been or would like to come to this event as to what weekends to avoid (school holidays etc etc) If the number of interested people is large enough, I may be able get some thing special organised for you , your suggestions and comments are welcomed I can be contacted by phone or email wayne.mayer@btinternet.com or England 01908 613918 I am as always prepared to help any one from outside the UK with their requirements.

Question, how would you feel if you were playing, live and someone said, I am sorry, but I am not comfortable with you as a partner and just as you tabled the hand, they got up and left? how embarassing for the partner especially if they are playing with opponents that are their friends I would also be curious as to how many partners she did not like , that warrented a 3 day suspension I think it is rude

You could improve vugraph, by having one commentator for North /South and they can only view those hands and one commentator for East / West or maybe two each I have no idea maybe that s better with more than one each team Then at the table we can see all hands and and comments for play and def

what is wrong with x then bidding Diamonds next? I thought this shows a very strong hand? also shows an unbalanced strong hand which is what you have ?

I think that idea sucks, I use other id's when I want some anonimity

If I should have played a Spade which one should I play and why?
