I think this is the crux of the problem. Let's assume that you were the TD who made the adjustment in the hand mentioned in this thread, what benefit would it be to anyone to email ACBL@bridgebase, or gweny@ bridgebase, or discuss the issue with ACBL_4 who might have been the TD and is also you, since you are one and the same? In my view it is a legitimate conflict of interest issue. Rona

Wayne, Right click on the image and then click block image...You will never see it again. :) I was so excited to try this, but when I right-click, I get no options that say "block image" or anything of the like. There seems to be different versions of the help. A Google search brings an HTML help site that seems more or less to work in Opera. However, clicking the Help button on the latest BBO beta brought a different help documentation. The latter one seemed somehow to use redirecting to get the contents. Maybe this caused that the back butten didn't work. I haven't got BBO installed on this machine so I cannot give a URL. I have bbo version 5.0.1. My default browser is firefox. The help button on bbo works well with it and my back and forward buttons work. Rona

I tried again but couldn't make it happen ..however the ads must have been removed because they didn't refresh and I don't see the notice in the lobby that I cannot connect to whatever ad I was supposed to see. The game in the main bridge club was normal :)

I have 4.9.2. The chatbox disappears when someone is making a bid if I happen to be typing at that time. Every few minutes I hear a click and my computer seems to be working but nothing happens, except my chatbox disappears again. I see no ads, neither in the lobby or in the room, not that I want to :)

Have you read the whole thread? And do you know that the person you refer to can actually play under a slightly modified name that protects him from kibs' chat? And then of course there is always the option to block chat to table so no one is bothered? He chooses to play under that name because he wants a lot of kibs but then doesn't have the stomach for them. He likes getting people banned. Sometimes I think he makes silly comments to the table to provoke the kibs so that he can then complain and get them banned. He should change his nick to BBODRAMAQUEEN. So I really don't think you are making a good comparison, but at the same time I also don't think BBO's job is to make sure lady players keep their panties on :P

I think class one looks more than OK . If half of BBO's directors followed what golfacer advises, life would be nice :) That someone actually took the trouble to write all that down and post it here I think is amazing. I am almost certain that whilst you are typing an explanation if the other opponent clicks on the bid, he gets the response "pigpenz is answering the question" or something similar. I don't remember the exact words. So, no information available, usually comes out only when you close the box that asks you to explain.

Fitz is now demoted to being the Papal Nuncio in Egypt. Why would he send him here. Egyptian Christians are mostly Copts and have their own Pope. Considering that tourism is the backbone of our country's economy mainly because of our beaches, we are less than pleased that the plant burned for ten days because the Israeli jets wouldn't allow the fires to be put out.
