While I sympathize with the 2♠ call in competition showing 4 with a min, I still prefer it show xtras because otherwise it lets the opps screw with your good hands and it feels like I am bidding my values twice with a min. Surely partner, who knows you have 3, can pick up the slack with the appropriate 1♠ call hand.

colors and type of game may be relevant here!! Certainly playing IMPS how you handle this, NV vs V, is different than V vs NV altho who your opps are plays into it as well.

yes you should reach game. East has more than a good limit raise but I would treat it as a good limit raise. West has an opening hand with 3 quick tricks and a singleton. So with everyone having xtras somebody should move.

When I sub I usually try to refind the tourney thru "My BBO" so I can unregister. But I really hate waiting between 8 and 9 minutes for the Express Tourneys to start so I am either away from my computer or in another window and my speakers are nonfunctional and I am not to wild about wearing a headset consequently I do not always hit the 60 second window you have for your first action.

as ugly as this hand is; well it will be ugly as soon as partner bids 1♠ and not much better over 1♥; it is still not a 2♣ opener. I will probably have to manufacture a jump shift over 1M

Does the TCR apply to Express tourneys you register for but you miss the start of the tournament? Or does it count against you if you register for one and you are subbing in another when it starts?

For me this is unusual as it violates my meta agreement "Passed hand cannot make any forcing calls other than qbids of the opponent's suits"

Your choices look to be pass, 5♦, 5♥. With the high potential for wasted ♣ values I am inclined to take any plus I can get out of the hand by passing.
