  1. What does 2NT mean? For me it means I am going to bid 3NT
  2. The X of 2♦ by partner is his way of saying I can't stand to pass but should be a TOX of ♦ so I bid 2♥
  3. 1. Neither just bid 4♥ especially if 2♥ was a constructive raise. If it could be weaker then try 4♦ 2. Your partner had a "if he breathes again he is in game" 2♥ everyone else is making a LR [well not me] with his hand and he seems to think he is holding ♠xxx ♥Qxx ♦xxxx ♣KJx
  4. Don't downgrade! the game going point count total is better as a decision process than you are trying to figure out if you should be in game because you don't see your partner's half of the points or his distribution.
  5. I bid 3♥ as the probable best MP score If Partner was not a passed hand I bid 4♦ and correct 4♠to 5♣
  6. Given that I have shown a 6 card suit I expect partner to support with 2 so IMO he has shown 0 or 1 so I pass now
  7. well given that it is MP I take a more conservative view and just bid 3♠
  8. possible calls are X and 3♣. In spite of the probable ♦ bid by partner I think a second TOX is better because 3♣ could be weaker
  9. check for controls the ♣Q is no longer waste paper
  10. except it is not quite the same as you are promising a 6th heart
  11. 2♥ although the case that the opponents have game is stronger than the case that partner has a penalty pass
  12. No I don't think it is needed. Support with support is my mantra so if this is an acceptable limit raise make the limit raise. If you are forcing to game then bid 2NT if that is your game forcing raise.
