Even worse after our 4♥ bid and 5♦ from LHO do you think partner is going to just bid 5♥ with say [hv=s=sakxxhaqdxckqxxxx]133|100|[/hv]

StepBridge has the best (most usable?) rating system I have seen. Basically when you join you are assigned a rating of 1-1(MP-IMP) with rating corrections after every 20 hands (increase or decrease 1) and no bunny bashing here if you had a 5-4 rating playing with a like partner against 2 newbies you would be spotting 1.5 IMPS/hand (difference between IMP ratings * 0.25) and you need to average more than 0.5 IMPs/hand to increase.

Better to congratulate yourself for your braveness when partner instead turns up with ♠KQJx, ♥-,♦Axxx,♣AJxxx I prefer to fight it out at 5♠, if necessary. Rainer Herrmann Partner has minimums way more than he has maximums! The question is what a minimum double should look like at unfavorable vulnerability at the 4 level. To me your hand looks like a normal minimum takeout double at the one level. And if you consider your hand a minimum double at the 4 level, mine is certainly not a maximum and the range becomes extremely wide. Catering for the absolute minimum in such a scenario will lead to far more missed slams than taking the middle ground with a slightly more optimistic view will lead to minus scores. Your problem is not the opponents but your partner even a 4♥ bid at this point could put you into an unmakeable slam. My best guess is that you need to take the last call which means you have to pass at this stage ready to make your upcoming 4 or 5♥ call next round.

Well I use 1NT=15-17 1m-1x-2NT=18-19 2NT=20-21 2c-2x-2NT=22-23 2c-2x-3NT=24-25 and 25+6=31<33 so my call is Pass KISS
