Love it to see the bridge advertisements back at least for those that play competitive Bridge. The ads are shown on top of the result lists. Readability could be improved for some of the ads or maybe size adapted.

And another two challenges declined by cepheid. He tries to chat with me in BBO but it seems he does not see my answers. No communication possible. Can please barmar or diana_eva check what the ... is going on? Maybe he put me on ignore by accident?

Second time my challenge with cepheid is cancelled. He insists he invited me but there is no challenge from him to be accepted by me. Maybe a yellow can look into this? Seems cepheid is not reading here either.

There is a problem to play the challenge with cepheid. He cancelled mine and now says he created one that I have to accept. But there is none and BBO is creating an error when I try to do a new one. Hope we will be able to sort it out. edit: After several tries it was possible for me to create a new challenge.

It is possible to login twice in BBO by using different browsers (Explorer and Chrome for example) and different nicks. One of your users should rent the GIBs. This one opens a teaching table and makes all the setups that you want including inviting you and your partner and the GIBs. You can hide the cards by opening a window like the chat manager. You only need the redeal button visible for the rest. With the other nick you can bid and play without seeing more than what you should see. When you want to keep the hands for later discussion you must save them manually as they will not be added to the my hands history. You will not be able to compare your results with other tables. EDIT: This is much easier than working with two nicks.

You will not need a partner or a team. When you call challenges an individual with robots it is. For me it is more like doing some team matches where your partner and your opponents are GIBs. For each match you compare who did better you or the one who challenged you. You better have played a challenge before you register to any of the competitions and make sure you like it and know how it works. What the exact movement and scoring will be is not decided yet. There will be restrictions to register at least for one of the events in planning. As long as you don't play the same boards in the daylong tournaments results are more or less a joke.

Don't you need the lead from dummy to complete the revoke? As there is no ♥A there was no lead only the attempt to lead. I do not think the revoke is completed. I guess I would have ruled that the last trick has to be corrected. The second diamond trick must be won with the ace in dummy and the trump goes back to the table.

Listing all tables in the main bridge club and selecting all tables with friends. The refresh button is not producing the same result as reproducing the list by pressing open tables and friends again. It seems the refresh button is only recalculating the shown tables and not searching for any new tables with friends. That does not make much sense for me. To see the effect you should wait a while until some friends arrived in the MBC since last selection.

When you don't play in the MBC you will hardly see the problem. My request is not about hosts who care who sits but about kibs that care to join. I tried it several times the last couple of days (with a different nick) and I can tell you that the seating is nearly always done immediately. That means it is so fast that you don't see "south" or anything showing the seat is free before the new player is seated. It is simply too fast for humans - a short hesitation would really help without disturbing anyone else. Please try it yourself when you don't believe it and think about if it might be something to increase the pleasure of players who like to socialise in the MBC.

There are a lot of different types of players on BBO. Some prefer to play with robots only, some play in the MBC, some prefer teams or tourneys. Some play with friends only and some don't care much with whom they play. Some are here to find friends or an potential bridge partner and others just want to train their playing skills watch vugraph. To make the community of Bride players as big as possible it will be helpful to cope with the needs of more than one type of player. I understand that it is difficult to meet everyone`s expectations but sometimes a small change could help without annoying others. Just imagine you sit at a table kibbing. Then one of the players leaves the table and you would like to join and maybe socialise with the rest. When the host did not block the seat you actually have no chance to do that as the replacement is too fast for humans. Could you possibly add a little hesitation before you assign a new player to the last open seat at an existing table? A second would already be enough to give humans a chance. When not possible in the flash version please put it on the wish list for the next BBO generation.
