1♠ 2♣ 3♦ Is it a splinter showing bid or 5-5 in the pointed suits with a strong hand?

After: 1♥ 2♣ 3♣ And in general, responder (or opener) bid the suits they have or have stoppers in, right? Is there a way to ask for stoppers other than than bidding the 4th suit?

I'd probably double (not quite sure) at MP's but at imp's there's too much at stake.

The bad thing about other people than yourself being dead (of course I don't mean you, I mean whoever feels sad a bout somebody's death) is that they are no longer here with us to give us their company, insight, music, humor, etc. That's what's sad, that they go away and we have to stay without them.

I'd open 2♣. I'd rebid 2♠, in the second question.

Evidently 'Dave' should stick up to 'Louise' and totally forget about 'Jane'. This is the kind of problem people already know the aswer about, yet they ask other people in order to get 'support' for their bad behaviour. Tell 'Dave' to think about what he would like 'Louise' to do in such a situation. Maybe it is 'Louise' who should be given advice; tell her dump 'Dave'.

I really hate making mistakes. I know everybody does but it seems so frequent in my case, it's such a $%*. I can play really well some hands but then I butcher others so terribly. I'd like to know of a secret formula, or any formula for that matter, to concentrate and not make this kind of mistakes. Does anyone here know about the upcoming bridge events for the next 3 years? I'm more interested in Junior events, though knowing about all events might be interesting. Also, how do I find information about bridge camps?
