thats what i complained in the other thread :-), the technical possibility seems to be there, but we TDs cant use it. i tried to ask every player to send me a ping be4 play started, but that obviously didnt work. too sad :-)
the lott is rather precise here in my opinion. the positive adjustments for purity (discussable if doublefit=purity) are definately compensated for lack of shape and more important weak honor holding in spades + missing interiors in our diamond suit. (following the law, page 45-46). the adjustment priorities suggest a deduction of 1-1.5 tricks.
but when u need to mark the offlinequitter in the middle of the tourney as an enemy it is about 10clicks if not more. go @ a table, edit profile, etc., right click on the red name in the tourneywindow mark him as enemy is 2 clicks.
tested 4.7.9. and asked myself: if it is possible to mark offline players as enemies in the chatwindow, why cant i mark them when they are red in the tourney?. i tried to run a tourney where i asked everybody to send me a ping "." before play started to get all names in the chatwindow but obviously that didnt work. :-((
running the german bbo-league this year i would appreciate if there were more options to mark people. friend and enemy just doesnt seem to be enough. at least one more option would be very helpful. the best thing would be the possibilty to define the friend/enemy/neutral/WC button myself.
no, winning a red vulnerable slam redoubled in board 1 i will stop playing anyway, and with the same right i should be allowed to leave after board 1 because stupid gib put me in 7nT redoubled -10. i payed my fee so who cares?
and the bots are still software, so there are players who know how to increase the chance of opps gib doing silly things. so why give away those tools to everybody? i know players who spent about 10000 hands in the free moneybridge room or @ a table in the main club with three gibs to find things out, so i dont think it is fair to let everybody see their MBT hands.
we have been through all of this a year ago. @ the moment uploading ur own lin file to play with 4 persons isnt possible. the tourney solution doesnt work because the minimum number of tables is three. a lot of people especially teachers would like to have this feature but actually it is not on the first places of the legendary "to do"-list.
oh yes, lets start this topic again. i (and xx1943, and some other teachers) stopped asking 4 this feature 1 year ago. probably it could be reinserted in the to-do- list but i am afraid that other things have higher priority.
