  1. Zeland, yes I also know there are many different relays in the system and I assume so do you, am I right?
  2. Mr goetze so what? How many dont? And it is not a reverse I guess in his system, and his p might not be able to bid spades without five.
  3. Why not treat it as a he table, ask the bidder's partner what he understands by the bid, on bbo the bidder is not able t see the answer so it is as if he has been asked to leave the table as in live bridge. In addition the same maxms apply, dont ask unless it affects your bid or openng lead pity one cannot wait till the bdding is over or nerly ver to ask about bids. Big weakness n BBO in addition to the fact that at the table you do not and cannot ask what does your bid mean of a bidder.
  4. Yes, and p is very unlikely to have four spades and you have a fit what more do you want Who reverses on a min hand? You do know this I hope
  5. Er y play high spde from dummy, ht fnesse x2 gives me 75% and if it loses what does west play Qc, trump? Or diamond or heart back, so seems to be best lin
  6. And unt after p has bid very odd system
  7. Oh and could 5nt be seen as a gsf in spades, possibly, hence risky
  8. Cyber if it does the i will transfer to it so 6c is the clear bid from south no risk as spades can be bid over 6c. Sry mate at this level its a guess so ask for info with 5hts how can 6c be wrong?
  9. None f the list, 5hts stands out a mile.
  10. Someone psyched? Hard too see a hand here I would want to x for pens so guessing take out , maybe the 1nt was unusual! Usual bbo rubbish bidding but what is my hand? So cant say
  11. From sputh 1c, 1h 1nt (15/16) 6nt. Frm north 1h, 2c 3nt, 6nt. It is clear that they have 34 pts iwhoever opens minmum and 35 max. End of. Rest is incmpetence.
  12. 36 zar points, too strong for 1nt with any fit, one club TINA
  13. My auction would be 1c, 1h, 3h, 4hts and for good or ill I am playing with the room. Seems best chance but if you are top hunting it might work, or it might not!
  14. The issue is not the psyche itself but if it is fielded or semi fielded. If you psyche even from time to time, your p could well be compromised as he knows you psche from time to time. For this reason all psyche bids or even semi psches must be reported. The director should and will rule against the par psching wherever possible and so a smidgeon of fieldng will label your p a cheat and possbly you as a bot too sharp. Its your risk and the odds are not good esp agains a pair you expect to better anyway. Daft tactic for my money. Not suprised you got ticked off on the basis it was a bit pointless.
  15. 2c every time Keeps all options open and if p raises clubs I can cope
  16. Eh 1s, 2h is invitational oh dear never knew that what bid is not then?
  17. By the way bad drivers can crash any car!
  18. Billw is spot on, you must give all the facts otherwise we are guessing not guiding. My guess would be, from the sparse info, bid four spades, clearly any heart fit or spade solidity could make this a big underbid when 3d or 4c would come into consideration. SAYC like standard acol is a Ford competing with Ferraris and Mclarens
  19. Penalties if point based p will lead trumps in most circumstances
  20. 3nt cos hts may break badly and I will lose minor suit finesses/ducks to rho who will not have many spades to lead thru me. Also if p happens to have more of a two suiter than a three suiter, esp if p has only three hts it will play more easily and p does have another bid if very distributional.
