Interesting that the organisers seem to have relocated Chorzow in Poland to St. Lucia. Roland I wish it would be true , because I was born in the direct neighborhood of Chorzow, the town of steel, coal, and dust  One of the favorites, team Jacobs is so early out of the event, what a surprise! There is no prize money for this event, world top professionals will play for an idea & prestige. Who knows, this tournament may take a same rank in bridge as Ryder Cup in golf after few years.. I am looking forward to watch this amazing field in a strong competition. Robert

I undersign it. In my opinion the exisiting rules of privacy at the BBO are right. The only thing that isn't "privat & free", is my and my table mates behavior. Robert

Not quite right. You also find cross country bike riding in most other European countries. I know that this is true for at least Scandinavia, Germany, Italy and Spain. I agree with you, by the way; it's very entertaining. Roland yes indeed! One road bicycle race is for me very entertaining too. Every spring I spend a sunday afternoon in front of my TV screen watching the classic race Paris- Roubaix, that takes place on the historical route including 60-70 km on very rough cobblestones. That makes this competition to "Hell of the North"! Robert

Hi, my BBO bridge partner has a following problem with the BBo software: after upgrading it to ver. 4.5.7. the nicknames in her friends list are not displayed "as a friends" in the lobby. If she added a new friends, they are not displayed too. She uninstalled the client, installed it completely new, but it didn't help. (she has only a small number of names in her list) what to do? The World Champion titles are achived mostly in team competitions. There are many absolute world class players (top 30 or 50) with rather small chances to win one of them, because the countries their represent have not enough top players to build a super strong team, so I think the title alone is not mirroring the place in the world bridge hierarchy.
