why did you bid 1 spade over the heart suit you have support for, if you r playing 2/1 surly a 2/1 bid would be enough 1H - p - 2D - p - 2H - p - 3H - p - 4C(no spade control) - p - 4D - p - 4H now you can make good decision 4nt?? I dont think you should play jacoby 2nt with 3 card support especially when you play 4 card bergen raises,and I dont think you should bid a 4 card major when you have a fit for a 5 card major p.s. I belong in the beginners intermediates lounge, just had to get my two pence worth in as I thought it was interesting how you got there. does not adress autosplinter but I dont think anyone has a genuine splinter bid (I may get lambasted for this)

whatever you do at the table, , will be subject to misinterpretaion, I have said things that and I have had things said to me that offence has been taken or implied. I have never intentionallly sat at a table and thought, I will offend someone nor did I expect to be offended, I am sure no one else does either, but that is what happens on line. As in life not everyone takes things you say as you would expect, so unless no one speaks you can't cure the problem, so learn to be yourself for everyone you don't get on with, there are another 10 you will get on with. someone has on their profile, look for your own mistakes not other peoples, unfortunately, you can't always see your own mistakes and it is nice to have them pointed out, may be you can put on your profile Comments welcomed, I have seen no lessons please, so respect that when it is there (I am not good enough to give lessons, but sometimes you need to say something), if you sit at a table in real life with some one you dont know, I believe that you discuss the basics. How many of you sit at a table and play with a pick up P, without discussing anything until a bid is made. this is where the problems start I think, discuss things up front even the basics and ASK, can we discuss as we go along. The point double made? what are you trying to accomplish, well I thought that was easy to answer, "play a decent game of bridge" and I dont think you can do that without discussion.

I realsise A spade lead and we are home and dry for 12 tricks. So here goes, my theory on how to make this. Blue is correct as both Club and spade guard are with RHO Loser count can be correct by pushing out the A hearts early in play using the K spades and a small club I can have losers in both hand and enrties to both hands KS KC JC declarer hand and AC xC xC and E I think I have taken care of and forgot how I did :) also I think on the leads we recieved there ca n be a simple squeeze a guard squeeze , I think a clash squeeze is impossible here any way just want some opinions please

I would like to know what to do next. 2 or 3 rounds already palyed, you are defending, opps lead small card into J K holding, which card do you play if you are both silent and have no idea what to expect your p to have and the bidding was not that informative i.e 1nt 3nt or 1nt 4nt 6 nt or what ever other bidding you can imagine that leaves very few clues
