It would not offend me, but then I am quite thick skinned, if that was his opinion of me, so be it I still think that whilst he generalises, he has made a non offensive statement, he is also missing out as there are some great people from (what I believe is the country he is on about), but by and large he has a very valid point and I guarentee that he is not in a minority view, amongst the forum posters here ( they probably are a little less open about their opinion though ) also Ron, I respect everyones right to be entitled to an opinion, myself and you are not what I would call shrinking violets If he said I wont allow the english at my table as I think they are all t*****s or I wont allow africans at the table because they are all black. then that may be offensive, I just do not think what he said is offensive and you do not seem the sort to be offended easily either Ron

it is not offensive, it is his opinion and he is entitled to it, just because someone does not agree with him, does not make it offensive.

Because, it is a good site with lots of facilities if you care to try them out, there are some very decent people about and I am sure you will not fail to make friends and find good oppenents, you just need to give it a chance and dont judge it on the MBC at throwing out time.

I would win the K spades then lead the K diamonds hoping that if Q and A are seperate they let the K win, then I would get into hand with A clubs and play for the A hearts on my right, I have two club entries if it holds even if they do not play the A hearts first round, I still think at the table this may be the best way to play it, if the AQ diamonds are on my left, I think it is going to be lucky to make it playing diamonds from dummy and that has to have a better chance than trying to make 3 heart trx

I think a nice feature would be to be able to ignore every announcement (except the fire alarm, for Health and safety reasons) when you set up a table for all 4 players

I have found myself guilty of what happened to you Aisha, I have told people that it is not a matter of life or death, but then I usually put in the rules that if you want a proffesional TD, go to ACBL and pay for the privillage. Having said that, if you knew it was a playing TD, maybe you could understand it from his point of view, he could not possibly come to your table and he probably gets fed up, with people asking, it is something you have to accept when the TD plays. Give him or her another chance, everyone has an off day, I have never found many people that you can judge on first impressions. I vented once at Pebcat, because they kept adding a few minutes here and there and it was annoying me (I was probably in a bad mood) and I regreted it, he runs a good tourney, but he does it his way and I have to accept that. btw I think Calabres and the team are probably the best online TD's going, but that is just my opinion and you are right it is free

ok, I accept all critisism, but I still want to know one thing that I struggle to understand take any auction, and partner splinters in hearts, (assume I have the same holding in hearts) with my heart holding devaluves my hand against my pard known shortage in hearts, why can I not use that same principle on devaluing my holding to bid 3 clubs, (we were not playing Lebensohl)
