I find this post odd, odd in the fact, how much time does a police officer have to spend dealing with and non cooperative individual, I think the police officer was totally clear in what he wanted and dealt with the matter swiftly and efficeintly and no one was hurt (ok being tasered is probably no fun, but hardly excessive force was used. I do not see how you can draw this conclusion, are you refering to the first time the man stated this or the umpteenth? I do not like the insinuation you make here, the police officer has a duty to take charge of a situation, I hope if you ever need the police to handle a situation concerning a possible or perceived threat to you or your family, I hope that you get a police officer like this one, that takes control and handles it as efficeintly as he did I think the police officer was faultless, he did a good job and you should be proud of how he handled himself doing what can only be described as a very difficult job

( you also have a trump for the ruff to work) Is leading low to pards suit not worth a shot when if he switches to your void, you get a ruff and can set the contract before they get in and take the next 12 tricks also a question here, as you wont be on lead, can you x the contract to indicate a different lead back if the K holds also do you think my example is so far from the realms of reality that I need a brain transplant?

This person thought that the statement in question was so over the top that he or she has lost all interest in participating in Forums. I don't think it would have taken much thought or imagination for the poster who made this comment to realize that this sort of thing might happen. Whether or not you think such a reaction is reasonable or the remark in question was funny, I don't think that refraining from making jokes on Forums concerning subjects like incest is asking a lot. I actually really miss not being able to scroll through the tables that are part filled, this may take some getting used to when trying to find a game also I can't see how to join a club, I assume this may change a lot also and I may just have to wait and see how you present that to us in the next version ?

Fred I am not sure if this helps, but I think my moment of dumbness (I should have worked it out) is caused by the fact I am so used to having the ability to see the names of everyone on a big list, it is just a case of thinking old bbo NOT THINKING NEW BBO (if that makes sense)

I have a comment about the friends hosts profile area, I cant seem to get uniformity unless I have it expanded width ways about 4 inches, it causes no problems other than looks a bit untidy (imo) I mean only when it is set less than about 4 inches over all I like it a lot The cc area seems to be quite good also, I prob need to play with it a lot before I can comment, other than it looks like a good way forward Just used the function to play a game it is excellent Fred + Uday and works just like invites to a team game great stuff (assuming you want to invite 3 other specific people) I would still like to see a way to view the list of pairs or tables that have vacancies for players so I could be a bit more selective (wheteher this wqs skill levels or people that are not on my friends lists but may like playing against is it deliberately set only so you can invite friends on your list only? also one question How does the "I don't care function" work and what exactly will it do I just went to a Vu Graph table and the selection screen stayed up when I went to the table, easy to close (I know) but would prob be better if it automatically closed

If Israel and Iran are at war, surely the Israelis could Nuke Tehran using a plane to drop the bomb (lets call it Enola Jew) for the same reason someone else did it a few years ago, to bring an end to hostilities, then there could be no reprecussions from accross the world as it is not a preemptive strike, more of a lets finish this war and get on with lfe and go forward

pard would bid 5!H if they had 2 controls and a Q of trumps so I then shut at out 5 spades (well at least that was my thinking) as I felt if they can bid 4 spades on their own the J is worth something it did not leave much else for p but to have a heart control maybe if I was unlucky AKQ!S and k!C I thought 50/50 he had k!H or K!C maybe 5 !C is a way forward, I did not think it was idiotic, I was not sure that shutting up at 4 spades was the best option, to me 4 spades is what everyone else would bid

if the dollar keeps dropping then surely imports become to expensive and as the US seeems capable of taking over any country it wants (it could always steal the oil to fund its natural resources) then it will be cheaper to make things at home and thus boosting the economic situation for itself

I think South should bid 3 diamonds, as they have a misfit and all of a sudden 6/5 does not look so nice, I do not think a GF bid was the right way to go, maybe be 3NT was better than 3 diamonds I am not sure he could always bid 1NT as first bid but what the heck at least he may be able to do something with his two suits
