Any way you look at it, with jec and his crew in BBO, there are too much diff between these players and the exisitng stars. Granting these players special symbol (if they are willing to) also let the general BBO members know better which tables to kibitz. The cirteria for granting special symbol may be difficult. :lol: :lol:

The hand got out finally after sucking for an hour. Sometimes it doesnt take only an hour but a day!! Hand played at my table 10:16AM EST. Last played at 11:13AM EST. When using GIB to review hands, click show double dummy analysis, result is shown (though sometimes painfully slows).. When clicking the back button for 1 trick, GIB returns to the state of 'hide double dummy results'. Have to click show double dummy results again... :lol: :lol: :ph34r: ;) ;)

Thanks all for help. Instead of double clicking the file, I start bidedit. Click File - open Could see the opening bids and pop up: File not found: conventions\conventions_bergen_all.bss Click ok on the pop up and the conv card retruns to blank Pop up error opening file Seems I missed something in my C:\bridge base online\conventions, which is empty. Will try to reinstall BBO. Previously I install 4.6.0 by update. Not remember the prior version before 4.6.0. BTW I still have not figured out how to enter defensive bidding? ;) ;)

I have a FD conv card prepared at home. It could be opened and the details shown. When I copy the conv card to another PC. The conv card opens but is empty (i.e. nothing defined for any bid/ summary is blank /etc). Both PC has BBO 4.6.0 installed. The conv card is 5KB. Opening it with notepad the conv card is not empty. :) :D

Noticed that whenever the table is not playing at norm pace, either too slow or too quickly, the hand stucking problem seems more easily occured. Really would like to see it fixed. :P :)

The hands are finally played 16 times after a day or 2. But it happens quite often the hands are stucked. I see it again just now so posting again. Any chance to look at it? <_< :angry: :) :o

BBO is hot .... some world champions are also playing in BBO. Would BBO consider adding another symbol (in addition to the star symbol) for the world champions, who won the bermuda or bridge olympid before? The world champions I am aware of includes sillafu, fulvio2002, smispi... Not sure if jec, scotty have won the world champion before... Fred has not yet achived this and hope he would get there some day :lol: :lol: By the way why not get paul soloway to BBO. Anyone knows if he is paid by OKB to play there? Probably the world champion symbol should also apply to winners of some major invitational events e.g. Cavendish/Macallan. Otherwise we only see USA and Italy with the world championship symbol .. :lol: :lol: :) :)

Please consider adding another player name on the myhands page. i.e. Please retrieve the hands played on or 2 days before date D with player A and player B both at the tables. :) :P

I played a 14 boards match with another pair 2 days ago. The hand mentioned which was played 15 times when I logout seems has died. It is still not flushed to myhands page..... Other than the 16 times is there also a time limit of the life span of a hand? ;) :)

I have a hand played (duplicate IMP) in BBO. When I left BBO, the hand has been played 15 times and not shown in the myhands page. But could be seen in movie in BBO. It is now a few hours later and the hand is still not seen in myhands page. Would all hands be played 16 times and flushed to myhands page? If not when does a hand last? HAPPY NEW YEAR :P :lol: :lol:

I would like to spec a particular club whenever there is any player inside the club. Could it be possible that it is informed via chat as 'notify when friend log in'. :blink: :lol:

I am using big deck option. When opening movie from the myhands page, the EW hands look lower than normal. Sorry I dont get the way to post a screen print. :P :ph34r: :ph34r:

When using big deck, the Bridge Base at the card back is not displayed very clearly. Shouldnt it be 1st priority to have the logo displayed nicely..... :P :P :lol: Or is it my 1024*768 resolution not good enough?

Posted several times. Please consider showing the results of last hand, in addition to the session score currently. So we do not have to switch to movie to see the result of last hand. Would it be included in the to do list, albeit low priority? Thanks .... :D B)

In BBO 12 boards tourney, it takes around 1hr 20 mins to complete. In OKB it takes the quicker only 1hr 5 mins to complete. Some slower players are yet to complete. In OKB tourney, players start moving to next round as long as a certain % (e.g. 70%) completes the round, as I understand. In BBO ACBL is it a must for next round to start only until all players in the section completes? Any ways to improve? Is it possible not to divide into sections so that it can finish faster? Does BBO support moving to next round after a certain % completes the round? What is the %? Tuning opportunities? Moreover OKB offers a swiss movement. There is also mechanism to deal with slow exceptions. e.g. If I am slower and has currently 60% I may play against a pair currently 40% if they are also slower than the field. BBO ACBL only offers simple movement. Other free tourneys (not as attractive as BBO ACBL) also offer swiss movement. But players could play against same players as mentioned in prev posts... Anything to do at software level/director level to have the BBO tourneys run faster? To me it is a major area BBO is still trailing OKB a lot. :P :ph34r:
