  1. White vs Red: ♠Q7 ♥KT74 ♦AKT ♣J854 It goes: pa 1♣ 1♠ X 2♠ ???
  2. [hv=d=n&v=n&n=sk74hakj94d7cqj85&w=saq92ht3d643ckt94&e=st86h86dqjt9852c3&s=sj53hq752dakca762]399|300|Scoring: IMP 1♥ 3♦ 4♥ 5♦ Pa Pa 5♥ Pa Pa 6♦ X All Pass [/hv] What's the worst bid?
  3. You hold: ♠74 ♥x ♦T63 ♣AKJT653 Red vs White: 3♥ Pa Pa ???
  4. There's a saying in my country to talk about people who have guts to do stuff: they're more corageous than the guy who ate the first avocado.
  5. I like the mentalist and I watch it when I can. Probably checked a little of psych once but not much.
  6. I'm tempted but I think I'll just bid 3♠.
  7. When I can't play in a junior event but have to train players instead.
  8. 3NT though I'm asking for a lot from my partner.
  9. :) erm, is this a penalty double? I guess not. Optional double? Am I just trying to get a plus by doubling?
  10. If I want to risk it I-d bid 7♠, but in a normal situation 6♠, ruffs might be neccessary.
  11. ♠6. My name is MUD. Mumumumu, mud.
  12. All Red you open with: ♠AJTxxxx ♥Ax ♦KQJ ♣x 1♠ Pa 4♠ Pa ??? Where 4♠ is not supposed to be a weak hand. What do you bid now? Red vs White: ♠87 ♥xx ♦AQxxx ♣KJxx 1♥ Pa Pa 2♠ Pa Pa 3♥ Pa Pa ??? Jumps are weak but in 4th position you're not that sure...
  13. Everytime new laws come out people usually complain about different aspects which changed from the previous one. When I had a look at the 2007's Duplicate Laws I thought RA's were being empowered immensely but I imagined this wouldn't come as a problem as bridge players should somehow be reasonable. But how long will it take till a RA deems a 2♥ weak natural opening illegal? Or a Multi 2♦? Isn't there a middle ground where both worlds can exist together? Is advanced announcing the solution?
  14. You hold: ♠AKJxxxx ♥Kx ♦ ♣T9xx And open 1♠ which your partner responds with 2♦ (11+), what do you bid?
  15. If West believes partner holds ♥+♦ why did he bid 3♥ and not 4♥ or 5♦? There's something fishy...
  16. I think most pairs should know whether opener has fit or not, so 5NT is 'We're gonna play 6 at least but if you have you maximum let's play 7'. If 3♠ doesn't show/deny fit then I don't know, might be choice of slam.
  17. At an individual a player sits in the wrong direction and plays 2 boards in the wrong order (wrong partner, etc). He finds out barely when the revision time is finishing, do you allow the change to be made?
  18. I'd bid 4NT but don't consider pass to be forcing.
  19. As good as it gets Me, myself and Irene To name 2 I remember always stopping to watch on cable.
  20. Playing an individual I got to 4♥ with: ♠AKQxx ♥Q9xx ♦--- ♣KTxx ♠x ♥J7xxx ♦AQTxx ♣Jx Pa-1♠ 2♥-4♥ Pa ♣Q-♣K-♣A-♣x ♣x-♣J-♣x-♣x Take it from there...
  21. I guess XX SOS by the 2♥ bidder? On the OP hand I believed 5♥ to be the right action by West. JLall convinced me of doubling, but I'm not sure when to use it. I mean, 5 card support of partner's suit (which should be al least fourth) and a void in their suit (which is not that bad for doubling since partner is supposed to be long and the double might make them err). So this double is still take-out? Is it optional? Is it 'I have support but don't mind leaving it'?
  22. I'm with hotShot, but I don't know if that is good.
