What is the shape-handling with strength slot(s) you are unhappy with the rest of your system? Hard to believe 5-5 MM, nor a particular bal range, maybe minor 1-suiter middling/weak. Do you hope to preempt with distributional hands? Or firm-up system bids on top or bottom by taking some into Multi scheme?

Could partner have transferred into spades over 2N? If yes, why jump 4S? 6xS with nothing else, ie. NO DT a candidate? My pass offers no suggestion -maybe just what he needs to know. If no, he has the undefined hand. He hears my PASS over 5D to show no particularly good defense against 5D (no double). He has the helm! I limited my hand with 1NT and no other suggestion.

Partner didn't turn FP on in our partnership when he could have. I double as forward values but 2-losers in their suit. 5H implies 0-1xD especially to clarify slam decisions.

Gathering 2D overcall denies H-support. I'm opposite opinion: 2D/2C SHOWS 3xH - else why am I in this auction cheaply and immediately? To find m-fit? And play 4m? 3m? If they S-fit? Scramble into 3-5 Hearts if lucky? Or partner knows 3-5 H-fit and 5xD help suit?

To CSGibson, Is 3H -1 overcompeted verses 3m=, +1, +2? Vul 100 vs 110, 130, 150/400/600. So 3H -2 is overcompeting? Vul 200 vs 110, 130, 150/400/600. This is my alluded 4H-2 may lose to 3m=/+1 or they overbid 5m-1 set we no longer get.

Does reopening double suggest H-interest? So bringing the unbid Major into our auction. If yes, then 1NT leben-ish to distinguish H-quits -immediate 2H; from H-values -1NT, then 2H? Some utility. Or minor scramble? 2C forced (unless) finds C-quits; verses 2C, then 2D useful. Loses 1NT grabitz value on balance-of-power partials. I choose nat 1NT. A little hand, no suggestion where else to play.

Disagree min bal. Just 2N, then 3N. No incitement. Agree bal middling expecting problem rebid. Jump 3NT incites just a little compared to bidding out shape to see where partner has 'stuff'. Then 4NT has 'likable' values after shaping out.

Agree nigel. Don't just analyze our hand -quite weak raise, but include opponents finding minor fit! Essentially two ways to win: H-fit found + their minor missed. Loose only if overbid 4H. Or rarely we set 5m now not found.

DAPO/Super MAF uses 2S as 2-suited not Spades, not clubs. Then Q-bid shows slam try/force, even repeat Q-bid here. Partner evaluates very well after that description.

Precision is what? 45 years old and still solving poorly thought-out after 1D methods? WOW!! Shouldn't those have been long ago measured (estimated) in profit-loss for the Precision system? Where were the skeptics, analysts? Hook line and sinker to the sales pitch?!

Does the converting 1H-x promise DA or SA or SQ with a H-stack? Wouldn't H-KJxxx with no side bid 1N? I try 3NT.

Looks a systemic gotcha! Was 1C strong? Nope. What assurance/foundation for action? Is offensive 3-suiter allowed for? Nope. What lie to use? Does X suggest DT? Nope. Cards, but no clear act? Offensive hand? Can I leave this to partner to reopen when he has 'stuff'? For takeout? Suggesting DT? I pass this. Save other calls for real values.

Have a paradigm or checklist as 3rd hand to run through, eg should I cover that later Q? signal twice to emphasize I really do want some play? THEN what to do on trick one. Usually this takes 12-15secs. Take that time to let partner run through his checks without later getting caught giving a "tell".

Shouldn't an Advanced and Expert-Class Bridge blog be debating what this bid SHOULD be? Not some Pick-up (therefore non-agreed) what if? Pick-up guarantees an undiscussed /unsimilar to discussed will be ambiguous. Where does that fit into the labeled topic heading?

1N an artificial force (as 1N F1 in 2/1) less than GF Q-bid. Let partner announce his 2nd suit - our minor fit found; NT with H-stop 13+; Q-bid 2H/X if he has no clear max.
