Imo Cappellatti is easy for intermediates because of similarity with Michaels and unsual. Easy to remember and better than no convention at all after 1nt. im not sure if capp so popular in adv-expert group. Here(BBO forum) I red that Woolsey conv is a good conv to play.

New version is nice and fast. 2 things I miss from bbo client are mouse over and right click player to join table or chat. I red the whole thread and I see not too much to do about just wanted to show my support for those 2 options. Very nice job congratulations.

east had 11hcp in third seat. i suppose thats why the hand was not pass out for most of the tables. I saw there some funy openings too like with east hand open 1s with 3 cards. Does 3c transfer to diamonds realy exist? I never heard. I saw 2 or more tables open 3c and alert diamonds. Whats the advantge.

nice post. I would add the group of players with a relative experience only on internet duplicate bridge to the ones that needs a transition cheatsheet. I'm one of them and I went to a club just to learn those kind of rules. I was afraid to play in tournament because of that and I just waste my time there playing friendly games. I never got back.

I think for b/i is not enough just to try to bid slam. The way you bid slam is more important imo. In general b/i players bid slam like this 1 of a suit open then pard with a openning hand or little better jumps to 4nt (or some use gerber). Some of b/i go with biding slow but still ask for aces when they don't know about a suit and have 2 quick loosers on it. So I agree to bid slam for a try and at least to get the play however I do not see what you can learn If you continue to bid slam in a bad way.

My b/i opinion learn 2/1 you'll get the part of sayc while learning 2/1. The advantage that you will not get stuck in sayc. Once you learn sayc is not easy to switch to 2/1 if you your pards are playing sayc and not willing to change.

I should have ask what 3d from pard means. Why 3d and not pass ?

nice idea to have team matches. the problem you encounter has no solution in my opinion. Always some players will not be present. I play in yahoo league (ladder league) and they organize team matches in BBO and they still have to deal with absence even players has to register to a web site to create teams and be able to participate. By the way the only thing I do not like is to make an online friend which ambush me with questions like where do you live;how old are you; what's your job etc instead to play bridge and discuss about bridge. That's why I avoid to have a regular online bridge partner.

play in free tournaments you 'll face there all levels from novice to world class(star ones). The bad part is if you do not have a regular partner .

Im just curios for those who can't live witout cell phone what they did 20 years ago. I suppose they had a solution to replace the cell phone. ;)
