I watched only the 11pm New York Time Vugraph sessions. I couldn't stay for the other two. 1 to 5 excellent 6 As otehrs said Kit Woolsey was oustanding. I can say the same for Lary Coehen , David Bird and David Burn. What I saw and maybe was just me is the debate,discussion of the biding and play most of the times goes to an agreement with the commentator with more authority. I give an exemple: the table where Kit Woolsey was commenting all the others (except the ones above and Roland Wald)commentators do not try to "combat" (not sure this is the right word) Kit Woolsey opinions about play or biding. same thing was happend at Lary Coehen table. I woould like to see some pro and contra arguments between for exemple Lary and Kit however they wasn't at same table. I remember a long time ago world class players from England and Kit had though discussion about play and biding. 7. I do not agree with commentary in multiple languages however I understand the reason for that. One more thing here is no reason for exemple to have polish commentary at the table where polish players are if the time zone(exemple 11pm New York Time) is not good for polish people.

I had a similar hand and my partner (pick up)intermediate said that you are not allow to open at one level with 10hcp if you play SAYC and I should have open weak 2 or 3. Any comments about that please.

My aunt and uncle die because of lung cancer but they never smoke and allow smokers around them. Curios their brothers and systers long ting time smokers still alive and healthy at age around 80. I do not want to say that smoking is a good for healthy but I think that too much blame and advertise goes to cigarets as the devil of all when we talk about cancer. I think pesticide that farmers use, the preservatives from foods and the smoke from cars should get the blame too as much as cigarets gets.

oh I hope I got it. you mean strip diamonds then play club before hearts. that will put rho "with what to lead."

my plan is: I take trump in hand and play small heart. if finesse works I play small club towards q. I count 7 spades 2 hearts 2 diamonds and a club. The point is k heart must be onside. I couldn't figure out any end play position if east holds kh and ac. if west holds ac and east kh we down for sure.

me as b/i player i learned weak 2 bid should have a bit of strength in one of the other 3 suits(like an ace or a king xx or a void).

I supose he has 2 honors(k and q or J) in his club suit because if he has 3 honors I see no problem making the contract. I as declerer I will play low heart and then 10 club from dummy wich loose to ace. I take spade with ace then play ace heart follow by 9 club. From here contract down anything I play.

I will lead heart. I suppose pard led was from doubleton and his ruff can help us with trump promotion.

I discard 6 heart. I do not know who has the q spade as I usualy follow the rule third hand play big second hand small so ks can be from kq but also from kxx.

I'm horible at leads and carding.(I can say level novice). I suppose I discard q spade hoping to catch declerer on a spade and heart. I see declerer hand as 1435
