  1. For 3♣ Bid definition says: Preemptive. 7+C, 5+8421hcp in C, 6-13 total points. This similar bid definition is for 3♦, 3♥, 3♠ also. There is something wrong in HCP. For 4♣ bid definition: Preemptive. 7+C, 9- HCP in C, 3+ total points. For 4♦ same definition. Should total points be higher than HCP?

  4. Suggestion to add the ability to attach the following association file types in the forum attachment. Anyfilename.LIN Anyfilename.BSS This will help to download these files for viewing purpose. These are bridge related BBO type files.
  5. In the ACBL convention card, there is a section for Direct cuebid. If Michaels is checked, then, will it apply to this 3♠ call? It should apply to any level. Is it correct? When asking the meaning of 3♠, Can North say "I forgot" instead of saying "No agreement"? Once, TD told me that I am entitled to forget the convention. I have to leave the table. My partner has to explain the meaning of his bid to the opponents.
  6. Thanks for the source of information. Based on this, I will update the Full disclosure convention card to include 1♣ and 1♦ also. Now, the initial memo is updated to include part 3 of this convention.
  7. Reloaded the PDF file as an attachment. Otherwise some other problem in the server. Gazzilli convention.pdf
  8. I checked several of Chip Martel's previous convention card online and I came to the conclusion that he plays the same. I thought he plays same method. Usually Vul 6 cards; Non-vul may be 5 cards, 5-10HCP's. I may be wrong for this tournament.
  9. Read on the attachment NABC appeal case. Dealer is south it says. If so, why East opened 2♠ call? Do you agree with this ruling? How the committee decides that there is no particular reason to think that North-South have a slam. If you are losing in the match, can south try 6♥ or 6♣ in this brd? If the card of Chip Martel says for weak two opening meaning: Usually 6 cards Vul, 5 cards in NV, 5-10HCP. Is it ok to bid with 3 HCP. like this hand ♠ KT7632? (1) West asked North about the meaning of South’s 3♠ call. North answered, “We have no agreement. I’m taking it as Michaels.” Is it true that this statement happens all the time in the clubs? It goes upto 16. Board number is corrected from 14 to 30, as dealer is east and it is incorrect in the attachment. Appeal case 3.pdf
  10. [hv=pc=n&s=shdckjt95&w=shdca764&n=shdcq83&e=shdc2]399|300[/hv] Declarer: West; Myself: North West has shown ♣ suit during the bidding auction. at least 4's. Question? Holding KJT95, what card should be leading in the middle of the game? J or 9 or 5 How will I know he may have Ace or king higher than J to learn quickly with out taking much time? J denies higher card for the leading suit even in the middle of the game, will it apply?

  12. You can click on GIB to see where you went wrong. At trick 6, running 9♠ shows wrong play. when you click on GIB, Red square with number means if that card is led, that many tricks will go down based on the contract level. Green square with number means if that card is led, that many tricks available based on the contract level. Green square with equal sign (=)means, if that card is led, that NO over tricks available. Gib numbers are based on declarer point of view always.
