  1. According to rules: Average- if you are at fault. Average if you are partially at fault. Average+ if you are not at fault. So, if there is no one at fault, it should be Ave+/Ave+. IMO, who loses connection is responsible, so it would be A+/A- or A+/A=.
  2. Welcome to BBO and to these forums. In the lobby listing, click on your own name, that will bring up your profile. Right-click on other's names to change friendship status. When you open a table, require permission to sit, then you can allow friends to partner you, and reject others.
  3. Yes. Originally first NT trick (or mayber all NT tricks?) scored 35 instead of 40.
  4. Please report to a yellow if a tourney has no working TD.
  5. Closing this thread, will be eliminated later. Pls go to the other thread, vote again if necessary.
  6. Fixed it. Not sure why that happened. Just reposted to fix it. BTW, that was the HTML definition of the hand diagram.
  7. Brandal, playing online (or f2f with screens) is not different to play f2f without screen about how a bid should be explained (just by whom). So, assume you're playing f2f and your partner is asked about one of your bids. What would your partner answer to that question? That's what you should say, not more, not less.
  8. It will help, as long your DNS server(s) cache is already updated (as it should be by now)
  9. epeist's works better in a clocked tourney, including it in the invit works better in unclocked.
  10. Changes: At least for now, back to letters for suits. Remembering again last query, but now there is a "Clear Values" button.
  11. No, forums and myhands not moved. http://www.bridgebase.com is currently inaccessable for a bunch of people. We took measures to correct that, but they take a while to show up, at most a day. If you are running Windows 2000+ the command "ipconfig /flushdns" may or may not help, give it a try. Meanwhile, Forums and Myhands work.
  12. Ben: No, it was me. Fixed now, thanks.
  13. Thanks all! Changes: No more start and end, but start and interval in either direction. DEFAULTS: Start now, get last 2 days plus time since previous midnight, so actually it is 2 full last days plus current day. Subtotals based on a given interval. DEFAULT: don't get them. Intervals are in the range 1 hour - 1 month, at least for now. Previous queries are not longer remembered. Defaults and ranges can change, let's see what is frequent usage first. Please use it and comment, suggest, complain, report, etc.
  14. Why not 3♥ with 18-19 bal with support? (assuming you open 1NT with 5M332)
  15. Ben: Working along those lines. Start date and interval, which could be forward or backward from now (then start date becomes irrelevant). Default would be backward. Are you sure the normal people would usually do a 1-week query? Seems a bit much to me. (I think most people will be interested in just last few hands most of the time). Rain: That limit is for query, and the limit needs to be there. A query of, say, 3 years won't be allowed. Now, would 15 days or a month (for example) be better?
  16. Nikos: Reset option: That's an option. The rationale for current behavior is for making repeated queries, to see what was the last valid. 1-week restriction: Queries must be restricted somehow, 1 week (per query!) seems a good choice. Entering times: That's fair. Will think about it. Thanks for the comments! General Q: What do you think the default query should be?
  17. Thanks Wayne! That 2005-01-19 is the oldest record accesible right now via this interface, no point to allow earlier queries. Reset brings back the last query which didn't result in an error. All times entered and shown are local to the viewer. Times passed between pages are GMT.
  18. Please try the new Myhands page Looking for bug reports, regressions and suggestions.
  19. Use only http://www.bridgebase.com/myhands in bookmarks/favorites. We moved away from the other address almost 2 months ago. We'll move myhands again soon., and the link above is guaranteed to stay current.
  20. Hint: Use black suits instead of colored ones when you are using hidden text.
