In the last few days I have had numerous problems with no response during bbo tournaments. The system says my connection is excellent but it will hang for several minutes at a time I have been kicked out of several tournaments for slow play Has anyone else experienced this? I don't think my computer is the problem but I have no way to tell.

I agree with you on the first hand but on the second, having "no cards" shouldn't be a problem as partner has them, you have the suits. There are no guarantees but with this much shape in the majors I wouldn't even consider passing.

4NT 4H is a splinter and all my cards are working, hopefully partner can take over from here and maybe bid GSF.

The slam is not all that bad. It depends on hearts 22 or singleton Q and holding yourself to 1 diamond loser OR 1 heart loser and 31 hearts and bring in the diamonds for no losers, probably around 50-50 (I'll leave that to the math geeks). That being said, I would have bid 4H over 4C and wouldn't be in it. On second thought, South SHOULD bid 4D as it doesn't take up any space. North should not bid 4S, if South can't take another bid over 4H then let it rest.

The only possible bid is 5♥ asking for ♠ control but Kx is not what I need. And how do I know we don't have a trump loser? PASS

Good plan. I was thinking pitch a club on the third diamond but that doesn't cater to 4 hearts in rho's hand.

I like 4C, makes it easy for partner to get to slam. Any other auction makes it pure guesswork.

Are you saying that the requirements for a game try are the same opposite a constructive raise as they are opposite a 6-10 raise? Or are you saying that game tries are unnecessesary opposite constructive raises? Is Qxx,Kxx of trump,QJx,Jxxx as good as AQxx, Qxx of trump,xxxx,xx?
