  1. Is that 3♥ -> ? -> 4♦ and hope the ? is 4♣ So i am clicking 3♥ p.s. I play new suit forcing
  2. oic now :) That depends on what type of 3♦ that is. My p usually reverses with good suits. Perhaps good 5-5 or more. So in that case I am just concerning 5♦ 6♦ 7♦
  3. I have some hint for Hand I: Our bidding was like this 2N 3♣ stayman first 3♦ 4♣ then this mean slam interest in clubs, single suiter 4♦ 4♥ cue bids 4N 5♥ 6♣ (I think we should'nt cue bid but 4NT direct!) Yes we were lucky to find ♠A in East Our system on suit slam investigation after 2NT With single suiter: 3♣ Staymen -> 4♣/♦ : slam interest in respective suit Jump to 4♦/♥ : Transfer to 4♥/♠, slam interest With double suiter: Both minor: Responce 4♠ , slam interest (3♠ is weak bid , 5♠ is slam forcing bid) Major-minor: Transfer -> 3NT Both Major: 3♦ transfer to 3♥ then bid 3♠ NOTE: This rules is not applicable to 1NT openings!
  4. I'll try 3♠! It shows where your honors be! bid NT or ♦ next round. You have a five card suit. If most honors are in ♦ ♥ ♠ and he has ♣A, then 30 HCP is enough for slam!
  5. OK 3♥ then to see if p cues ♠ But if slam is on then i prefer in ♦ rather than in ♥.
  6. I may Dbl here and then pass parner's bid if he is minimum. If the bidding is: {3♣} pass {3♥} ? What do you bid now?
  7. I'll try 4♦ For a hand visualizing a slam , this bid is very clear. I usually choose the best fit trump for a slam. After that bid partner can start cue-bidding. He should have ♥A and ♦A If he has no ♠ control then settle for 5♦ As you are in doubt, i often have to make 5♦ 6♦ while others stop 3NT.
  8. If we had agreed to play Fit Jumps after an overcall (Like Me) i 'll bid 4♦ , showing honors (From AKx to QJxxx) in the bid suit and support in partner's suit (♣) all in one bid. Partner may then find out my honors by blackwood / cue bid sequence Partner may hold ♦QJx.. instead of ♦Jx which makes grand slams more likely to appear on other tables. If we don't play Fit Jumps In this case i would try void-wood ... if partner don't have ♥A or ♥K then why would he open? In other simular cases , we have an option between giving direct support and bidding own suit. We have the choices of 3♦, 3♠ , 4♣, 4♦(if not splinter) 4♠ or even 5/6♣. I will choose 3♦ and raise partner's ♣.
