If you make it to final, then we can wait for you to get back. But we cannot wait for you for the semi-finals.

Clearly we dont know who are friends, and this is a tournament so even if we know we just pair based on Swiss rules:) So if the person you are playing against is your friend, you should probably contact him first and make sure that he plays on time. Sorry - if he doesn't play, given he did not really accept - I think you have to play again:)
