It is OK because it has 4 of each major at least but the response bid is poor simply 2NT is better then it bid 3H as not strong.
-
2NT is OK as it has spade reasonably well covered and NT is better than a minor suit- not correcting after the diamonds bid is inexcusable as there could be game.

GIB's interpretation of a double as takeout is not sensible
cloa513 replied to zzxjoanw's topic in GIB Robot Discussion
When they set 2♦ double as penalty then the programmers should have fix all reasonable continuations- it is laziness as usual. It is one thing to say handling all bidding sequences is hard and then you should say why they find the time to set 2♦ double as penalty shouldn't have had the time for that. -
Is the hand display because of the tournament type- you really should mention the tournament?
-
It has shortness- 2 doubletons. I'd agree not very good shortness.
-
Your hand is too strong for 1NT over 1D. More like double then 1NT. Getting into 3NT one trick short DD is almost a sure thing against GIBs so it is a good contract in the context- it has almost got it TP. The correct way to play it is after getting in with spade, run your clubs then try diamonds or hearts depending on GIB's awful discards.
-
That's a reasonable bid- it is making a gambling bid when short of bidding space. Much worse would be pass.
-
Let alone the continuation- the programming will never get any better.

What does those words mean? I'd argue you need the opposite of direction- parties should not deciding how to solve any of the country's problems before they get into power. Start only with a set of value but no pre-prescribed decisions of what to do. Apparently people really want terrible solutions- that is guaranteed when you don't consider all the evidence and all the possible solutions. Give solution forming a full six months- modern western government have proven they could shutdown for months and it would no difference.

BBO rarely alter GIB- it is a fixed program.

You have to remember there is a how bucreacracy that doesn't what to see any problems- just look at the recent statement by federal electoral official- we don't see any credible issues- so there are really are problem but they don't see it as that. Your case just demonstrates how easy to commit fraud. Its doesn't take a big conspiracy to commit electoral fraud- one guy in few key electorates who votes hundreds of times using - paid from a slush fund set up in way for deniability- paid for electoral services. Democratic Party associates admitted on Veritas camera that they would anything to win and detailed some of illegal ways they'd do it.

You are mistaken about half of them Truman and Roosevelt both served a full term after taking from being vicepresident in previous term- Assuming the role of President doesn't count as first term. Number of US Presidents who when voted in their first term and didn't die (assassination or ill health) 0 - Trump may not be in perfect health but he has the best medicine in the world to keep him going and a reformed Secret Service to protect him. 100% chance that Trump will serve one full term.
-
It kind of needs to count it for opening bids but I see your point- maybe after the opening bid or overcall, it doesn't count distribution until the suit is agreed.
-
Is the correct intermediate bid, 3H or can you cue even?
-
It had to be consistant. It was giving tricks to declarer from trick 3 onwards. GIB:I wasn't awake earlier otherwise I would have dropped the J and Q of ♠ so I just dropped of Q♠- now what more can do to help. Helpful robot syndrome.

They are both in a mess. The Republicans rejected their own now winning candidate such Ryan Speaker of the House. I can expect some serious Trump payback to Republicans.

prioritize NT with all stops and only 4 cd M
cloa513 replied to Stephen Tu's topic in GIB Robot Discussion
Lycier should not have bid 2S. 3NT is obvious. With hand one, the GIB manages to misposition the 3NT bid which with only makes with GIB's bad hand play- no sense in switching to diamonds (or hearts or spades) after the club lead with single dummy view and bidding consideration South has long diamonds. -
Similar situation come up not too often.
-
Also got to the "love" the 3NT`s HCP range 11-17. That is a thing of GIB ugliness in definition. It chooses to continue to slam with its bare 17 HCP- any human would be misled into thinking its stronger than the "normal" soloway bid.
-
The 3♦ isn't defined as forcing rather it is a case of atrociously bad GIB judgement.
-
How can it possibly- it is beyond what an not so intelligent expert human can handle.
-
Given how extreme your hand is, your response to 4NT is 7♥- partner has no aces and just strength and some support. Don't worry you aren't alone some "experts" don't allow for their hands are and subside at lower level than is sensible.
-
So don't bid 3H and effectively set the contract suit as hearts because 2C can be a utilitarian bid showing just 3 clubs.
-
20- TP is less than 20 total points. A good argument is it should state a lower higher limit and lower limit number but it has its bid- it doesn't need 19-20 TP.
-
Shouldn't the response to FSF be telling something new?
cloa513 replied to helene_t's topic in GIB Robot Discussion
It is telling you something new even though it is badly chosen obviously 3C not that 4H is really such a bad contract- it is just level of the badness as 3NT. No stoppers.
