  1. I see nothing in there that has anything to do with how much light your skin reflects. If you do, that's your problem.
  2. Arend, you are in Edinburgh Scotland. Please tell us how your government has dealt with the massive influx of Central Americans into your country. We welcome your insight.
  3. Thank you for your input Johnboy. You really are a mental heavyweight. I stand in awe of your magnificence.
  4. Thank you Ken for a reasoned response to what I thought was a reasonable question. I always appreciate your thoughts.
  5. So exactly what is Krugman saying here?....that the "elites" wasted a lot of time cramming the ACA down our collective throats when they should have been concerned about boosting the economy by job creation through infrastructure spending? If so, I agree wholeheartedly.
  6. LOL! Old? Guilty as charged. Lonely? Hardly. I've been married to the best woman in the world for over 59 years, and I probably have more friends than you've had hot meals. So you can save your snotty little attempts at insults for someone who may actually respect your opinion. I don't.
  7. Ritalin Johnboy. Ritalin. I'm really trying to come together and love my brother but you're making it somewhat difficult.
  8. Those of you who have nothing better to do than spend 24/7 bitching because your girl Hillary lost the last Presidential election. The country is in great shape...unemployment at an all-time low, stock market at an all-time high, people happy. "Come on people now Smile on your brother Everybody get together Try to love one another Right now"
  9. Not only that, but The First Lady was dressed inappropriately! I'm infuriated! You people really are laughable.
  10. JohnU said LOL! Double up on the Ritalin Johnboy, take two enemas and call me in the morning.
  11. Bill Maher had an interesting question regarding "free" college. The question was, "Should those who choose not to go to college be forced to pay for those who do?" As Milton Friedman said, "There's no such thing as a free lunch." And that's what it boils down to. Those who choose not to go to college but choose to go to work (and pay taxes) will be paying for those who prolong paying taxes by going to college. Whaddaya think?
  12. But I read that he saw his shadow while entering Air Force One down there. That means six more years in The White House.
  13. You get too uptight about crap like this Winston. Fritts is a fool as is Al Sharpton (Freddy's Fashion Mart); they're just at opposite ends of the spectrum. Yesterday was Father's Day. Hopefully you got to see your kids, they gave you a hug, and told you that they love you. That's what's important....not what some halfwit is preaching from a Baptist church in Knoxville.

  15. That's the point I was trying to make..."A man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest." I read The Washington Post and The New York Times. I seldom agree with their viewpoints, but I am interested in them. You probably watch Fox News occasionally (well maybe not), but if you do I doubt you agree with their viewpoints. And all that's fine. If we were all alike the world would be a lot duller.
  16. As Simon and Garfunkel sang in The Boxer...."A man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest."
  17. So be it. I could wax eloquent, but I won't. I leave it to you and your fellow travelers to figure out.
  18. I agree with you and Galbraith 100% Winston. As previously stated.... “as much liberty as possible” and “as little government as necessary.”
  19. But you gotta admit it's amusing. There's a laugh a minute here.
  20. The libertarian or “classical liberal” perspective is that peace, prosperity, and social harmony are fostered by “as much liberty as possible” and “as little government as necessary.” Libertarian is not a single viewpoint, but includes a wide variety of perspectives. Libertarians can range from market anarchists to advocates of a limited welfare state, but they are all united by a belief in personal liberty, economic freedom, and a skepticism of government power.
  21. Perhaps it's the pilots who should be grounded. I think too often now pilots are taught computer skills rather than stick and rudder skills. Remember Asiana 214?
  22. Actually I don't "support" either major political party. I'm not a Republican and I'm not a Democrat. If you want to slap a label on me label me as a Libertarian. I believe in Life, Liberty, and The Pursuit of Happiness. So far I've achieved all three; I've lived for over 81 years, enjoyed liberty for all 81+, and not only pursued happiness but actually captured it. I wish the same for you.
