This is a very good tip Cascade, as you dont have to note down the playing Tables. I would very much appreciate if this screen is automatically refreshed, say once in 5 seconds. If this is implemented,then Cascade's tip will not be be relevant after the Round Change So ideally, 1) List the unfinished tables for adjustments ( Deal No & Table No) and if possible Left click from here and do the adjustment , failing which 2) Refresh the "Show status of tourney" window at a predefined Refresh rate so that TD's dont have to keep doing this in the last few minutes ( sometimes it may be not possible, if attending to call at a Table) Godwin

What's good for the Eyes in not good for the Ear. As a TD, I try to catch the attention of people ( especially when there is no colour differentiator in the chat text for TD's & co-TD's) by prefixing & suffixing the sentences with the suit symbols S.H.D & C. This embellishment doesn't go too well with voice. for eg. !H!H!H Please play fast and claim !H!H!!H would be heard as Heart Heart Heart Please play fast and claim Heart Heart Heart Probably when this upgrade kicks in and more people start using voice, I hope people in general will reduce the usage of suit symbols. I don't know if this is a bug, or if it is the way that it was intended. Anyway, if a Team Match ends in a tie ( It happened to me yesterday) , Team 1 is declared the winner. In yesterdays's Fido vs Dido match, both were tied at 38 IMP's each. The results screen however had this information. Rank Team Score 1 Fido 0.0 1 Fido 0.0 Team1: Fido: Players names for Fido Team2: Dido: Players names for Dido Though it ranked both the Teams as Rank 1, it did not pick up the 2nd Team Name. The tournament results page has been tweakened and now the format and font / font size is OK & neat. Great job. However the Results for Team Match can be improved slightly. The font and font size is readable and good, only the layout may need a small change. As of now, the layout is Team1: player1+player2 Player3+Player4 Team2: Player5+Player6 Player7+Player8 If there is some more spacing between the Player names and between the Pair names ( or Pair names on another line) it will be easier on the eyes like in Team1: Player1 + Player2 some more space Player3 + Player4 Team2: Player5 + Player6 some more space Player7 + Player8 or Team1: Player1 + Player2 Player3 + Player4 Team2: Player5 + Player6 Player7 + Player8 Godwin

I had suggested this before, and I suggest here again as this is on a relevant topic. Chatting with Partner through private chat after the deal is over and during the waiting time for Round change will be something which I would like. Reason: Postmortem in private preferable to postmortem in public. This surely was a feature in e-bridgenmaster (ACBL online) and hence my presumption, that this may not be terribly difficult to implement. Also during this wait time time between rounds, if facility to read mail sent ( instead of waiting for next Log in ) Allowing "Chat to Tournament" between rounds appears to be nice, but I have my reservations. Too much clutter in the Chat bar will result in Director announcements to be missed. Prefer a different colour for chat text from Directors & co-TD's and then this should also be OK. Godwin

Just check if you have selected " Remember filter settings" . This check box will in your User Profile. You can modify your User profile by clicking F10 & then "Edit your profile". This box will be just above Ignore Chat and below Other information. Godwin

Nice post telling everyone what gets them banned on BBO. I like all your points except Point 6, which needs more clarification. Are you implying that it takes 2 years to catch a cheat?. I understand that you need to collect evidence over a period of time to nab the culprit, but 2 years is a bit too long. I had suggested this earlier, OK, I go one more time. Mail can be seen only when you log out and log in again. How about dumping the mail content to one's private chat once your status changes ( eg. no longer a tournament player, or inbetween rounds in a Clocked Tourney) This way, you receive the mail without log out and logging in. Ideally if the mail is received as a different colour private message it will be useful, better still if a time stamp can accompany it. Alternatively, have another box on the right ( like Chat, Lobby, Tables,Tourney) called Mail box made active only during those time when you are not in tourney. The No. on the box to indicate the No. of unread messages. Godwin

I am probably in the minority here. My 4S bid was based on my understanding that 1S promises atleast 5 cards. If this is not , then I have to find another bid. For all the 2D bidders, won't 2D deny ♠ support, though it sets up a force. Godwin

My balance sheet is still showing a plus for overbidding. I am a bidder on this hand. Once you decide to bid, then 2NT automatically falls in place due to elimination of other possible bids. All other bids will show longer hearts and be forcing. Godwin

My vote was for Others. I would like to see the totals for every sensible/plausible bid. As these polls get popular with more participation, you are bound to get some typing errors and some wacky bids ( just for the fun of it) . I dont want to see these bids listed. Uday, can you explain how this is done. Yes, I saw the feature available now under Table, when playing Teams. But you dont see the Table until all 8 accept invitation . So I presume, you mean that when the Team Match is listed saying 2 minutes to start, we need to click on that and then Table, Edit Tournament and upload predealth hands. ( This is a real small window of opportunity) Many a time, even when your Team Match is listed, someone is not accepting, and the Create Team Match window needs to be editted and restarted. Do we upload once more or the 1st one stays? Godwin

I presume 4♦ can be only ♦ splinter with Spade support. I have now completed the description of my hand, atleast 5 ♣, 4 ♥, 3 ♠, singleton or void in ♦. At the minimum, I want to be in game even though my pips in the ♠ suit is not very encouraging. After the 2♠ bid slam prospects look bleak. So I let partner assess his hand in light of my ♦ shortness and what I have shown so far. A 6th ♠ will be a useful card, but I have no methods to find that out. If he makes the right noise with a 4♥ bid, I might think of making a push towards slam. In all probability, I expect the auction to die in 4♠ Godwin

I tried to simulate the problem again, but I was not able to. So I presume, I must have selected by mistake 2 conditions , Both Include Friends of Host & Include players from a file on PC. I was a host & TD for the tourney I created I am sorry for the confusion it created for Uday. Regards Godwin
