  1. 2H: 8-11 point (including distributional), 4-5 [HI]s 3H: 3-6 hcp, 7 (or decent 6) [HI]s 2D: both majors of invitational strength or game forcing value. Why would one bid 4H? what if pd has a dbl-and bid hand, with short ♥s?
  2. pass. It is not over yet. If 1H gets dbled and passed to me, I would bid 1S.
  3. We play 2/1 100% game forcing.
  4. [hv=d=e&v=e&n=skq10h9xxdack98xxx&s=sahajxdq10xxxxcj10x]133|200|Scoring: IMP[/hv] North South played 2/1. East dealt and passed, South opened 1D, West passed and North respond 2C, and East interfered with 2H: 1) Do you agree with North's 2♣? East South West North pass 1♦ pass 2♣ 2♥ ? 2) What should South do? 3) For the sake of convenience, assume South passed (West passed also) and North dbled (East also passed). What should South do? do you agree with south's pass? 4) Again, assume South bid 3D (do you agree?) Which bid would you choose? 5) North passed South's 3D, do you agree?
  5. oh well, I am the only one to vote for 6♠.
  6. I tried hard to find more than 16 tricks, but failed.
  7. without special agreement (xyz etc), 3♥ shows 6+ ♥ with invitational values.
  8. I was used to capp. Then tried DONT for while, didn't like it, for the same reason Roland mentioned here. Then a friend told me Woolsey which I like a lot, though capp (better than DONT) is still in my profile on BBO. But since DONT is the only convention, I would bid 2C.
  9. Since 1NT is passable, I would have bid 2S as well. If for some reason I responded 1N (or maybe a player bid 1N and left), 3H is my first choice, 4H is second, 3H is 3rd and 4H is 4th, ......, pass is out of the list.
  10. 4D if you really want to play slam, 4H otherwise.
  11. I meant to vote for "6♠ and if doubled sit", but clicked on "6♠ and if doubled 7♣" instead, simply clicking on 6S without carefully distinguish the difference of the two.
  12. Ace asking (classic Blackwood). 4NT bidder has a long suit. How could 4NT be natural and quantitive while partner's strength (and shape) is not limited? 3S could be something of good 11 to 20 (or even more).
  13. 1 & 3. agree with mikeh. 2. I would bid 3S only, in case pd has a big hand and want to bid minors.
