After this WIDE RANGING headlines any bid of south is a gamble.

West is showing 11+ hand,East is showing 8+ hand with 4+ spades.It will be difficult even to play in game by south.

Bidding of East is revealing in vulnerable condition with only 3nos of spades.He is short in one suit(probably D) & from bidding expecting west to be short/void in other suit i.e hearts.I will play East with all missing H.

HA is useless unless you win first trick with HQ.You can always go to dummy by ruffing club.Finnessing at least gives a chance for discarding.

If from bidding & first five rounds of play(one H,two S & two D),EASTs distribution is 2-5-4-2,west is to be endplayed in club.

Imo by doubling & subsequent jump bid partner is indicating more than minimum opening value,5+ spades &shortness/stopper in diamonds.

South was to bid 4S instead of 2S.

It appears they will be trying to establish a long side suit in norths hand(presumably diamond judging my hand & bidding ) by xruffing to discard loosing clubs. So CA it is.

why not 4c by south to show superfit in clubs,singleton in hearts & near opening value?
